The food here is great and the service. One guy there was super helpful in particular I think his name was Drew. I wasn’t excepting much since you order at front but he engaged in conversation and gave great service! I will definitely go back again.

I’m a big fan of Burger Lounge here in San Diego already. That said, the experience differs greatly store to store and I would give the other locations 3’s and mostly 4’s. Burger Lounge in Kensington is the exception, it’s fantastic! Sharah and the rest of the servers, cook staff and managers are a friendly group w/quick, accurate service and great follow-up. I visit once a month or so and have had no poor experiences.

Very good, love this location small but food and service is awesome. Love the veggie salad.

I got a half order of the vegetable salad to go with a beef patty with white cheddar on top, and it was all good. But they charged me a full dollar for the cheese, so I wasn’t a big fan of that. But the patty was nice and tender and a little too big for half a salad, probably better for a full sized one.

I’ve been to this Burger Lounge at least 4 times in the last few months & not only is it the BESTBURGER I’VEEVERHAD… the customer service is always amazing! They are so very attentive, helpful, courteous, I could go on. They give free refills, the place is always very clean, and the vibe is always welcoming. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Oh & the food is delish! Quality ingredients, tastes like real food, prepared with love. I’m not a huge burger fan & when I first moved to SD I thought In N Out had the best burger but this place blows them out of the water! Quality food + attentive customer service… what more can you ask for?!

Let me start by saying that I have loved this place since the day it opened. I bring friends here all the time and when I need good food, fast, I think of coming here. The other reason I think of coming here is their onion rings, or at least it used to be. I used dream about them. So tonight, it was a long day, I needed some nourishment and comfort food. My food was served and as soon as I looked at the rings something was wrong. I held it, took a bite and knew something was changed. I asked the great staff and sure enough my fears were reality. No longer freshly made that day… frozen! I’m not happy at all. For years I had found the best rings on the planet, now they are the same as everywhere else. Please bring back the original rings we all loved. I won’t be ordering these again; it’s sad!

The Best Burger in town!(my humble opinion) Organic grass fed options, sculpin on tap, and Amazeball onion rings. It’s a little pricey for a burger place but the quality of ingredients shows.

the food options are amazing! i had their classic burger which was super fresh! they make the burger as fresh and how you want it. The burger i had was grass fed and i had organic options on everything. my fries, i got half and half of onions rings and half fries. the onion rings and fries were really good and seasoned just right. the onion rings were honestly my fave. i honestly, like my onion rings crunchy. i got their fresh lemonade and it was served with fresh mint inside. the presentation of the food makes you feel like you are being served sushi or something fancy :) surprising for a burger joint! it was served on a clean white plate and everything was neatly placed. the fries were served in a presentable brown bag. the service was really good. they also check on you and ask if you want refills or sauce and they totally get it for you! i got refills for the lemonade. pretty awesome! they clean after you as well. the price was good to me, id say. two big burgers, shared half/half fries, and a lemonade was about 25 $. good quality food and experience. you pay when you order at a cashier, their menu is set up like a reg. local burger joint and you can leave a tip by the cashier. they have paper menus, that helped me out because i couldnt read their menu(i left my glasses in the car). they lady working cashier was really polite and nice. gave us some popular recommendations and her opinion on what she likes there.

I love the veggie burger and the salads. I was just at Adams today at noon. Guys working not very friendly nor rude but the girl was amazingly gracious. Helpful and hard working. :-)

What a great burger and service! They have a paleo burger and it is outstanding. Bacon burger, served on grilled zucchini, with all organic ingredients. Gotta be one of the tastiest burgers in San Diego.

Definitely five stars! Among all of the San Diego locations, Burger Lounge consistently delivers a delicious gastronomic experience. The attention to quality ingredients keeps me coming back week after week to get my burger and onion ring fix. In particular, the free range turkey burger filled with basil is extremely delicious. Likewise, the onion rings are not to be passed up. My recommendation is to get the half and half, if you want to enjoy both fries and onion rings. Make sure to ask for some of the house made buttermilk ranch to accompany these crispy selection. Each time I go into BL, I contemplate trying the special burger of the month because it sounds so original, but as often happens, I default back to my regular. My husband and I usually share the large onion rings, and it is always a quest to see who can get to the bottom first. He often wins! In terms of the location, the BL Kensington is located right in the heart of the neighborhood and offers both indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps for the chilly nights. For those dining alone, you may even choose to sit at the counter and engage with the cheery staff about the delectable chocolate milkshake being made nearby. Once you order, grab a number and sit-down, Burger Lounge ensures there are staff to help refill water, sauces or any other diner needs. It is the perfect option for the solo fast causal meal or a relaxed meal with friends and family.

Love this place! If I can give it more than 5 stars I would! I’ve been here about 10 times now and have received excellent customer service each time! I’m usually a very picky person, and feel I can be pretty critical at times. So the reason for my review is to let everyone know that they need to try this place! The food here is amazingly good and the service is outstanding! I normally get a romain&kale salad(aka Cesar salad) with grilled or fried chicken or seared ahi tuna. I’ve also had the burgers and they’re ALL so tasty! I will continue to come here for as long as I am alive!

First time at this place, it was really good. Lived up to the hype. I ordered the classic burger, medium well with no ketchup and a side salad. Guy named Andres was really cool and helped me at the register since it was my first time and all. The meal was overall awesome and I would highly recommend it to any newbies that are skeptical about going.

Where do I start other than this is the best burger in town. Fresh, rich and oh so yummy. Ranch for fries? Yes please. Chocolate shake? Sure. Soft brioche bread, meaty patty and the satisfying crunch of fresh onions in my mouth? Yes please. Hmm craft beer to wash it all down with, Wow and that’s how much!?! That’s ok and here’s a few bucks for the tip jar– Will gladly keep paying for the quality stuff –and enjoy every second of it.

I used to love this Burger Lounge when it opened. Then, over time, the quality of the food went down. The Lounge Burger used to be so delicious, now, it’s just okay. Recently, I got a to-go order and the person who took the order really messed it up. When I called to complain, he said that he was the manager and he was pretty rude and did not own up to his mistake. I will continue to go there, because, usually, they are better than this. They are pretty expensive, though, for what you get.

I love their veggie burgers and I very much appreciate how transparent they are with their nutritional info as its all available online. Slightly expensive but worthwhile as the veggie burger is so tasty! I enjoyed their fries too, I think I’d pass next time on the onion rings, fries are better. Their restaurants are always busy but I’ve never had any problems finding a table. Def worth a trip!

So amazingly good! This month’s feature is an elk burger. If you like wild game, this is the burger for you. If not, the regular Lounge Burger is simply wonderful. Everything on the menu is good. They have the best onion rings and fries not to mention sodas made with cane sugar(no high fructose corn syrup), beer, wine, and shakes/malts made by hand. It will all make your taste buds dance. The service is spot on, too. Everyone working there is smiling and energetic. It just makes you come back again and again.

Always a good choice. My second time here, never dissapointed. They have healthy choices for burgers including elk and turkey. Located in walkable Kensington. They do have beer on tap… yummy!!! SCULPIN.

The man and I love Burger Lounge. I do feel that it’s a bit pricey for a burger alone, even for organic/free range/etc. meat options. If it included fries, I could justify the price a little easier. Still, we find ourselves going here occasionally on game day, since they do have TVs inside(no volume, but it works). There are also places around the corner to finish out the game after we scarf down our burgers. I have only tried the seared ahi tuna burger, and I love the sauce and sautéed veggies they put on it. The fries are delish too– they have those crispy thin fries with a sort of subtle seasoning. DH loves the regular burger and doesn’t feel the need to wander from that first option whenever we return, so I’m guessing it does the job. This is the kind of place I would bring my kids to for a healthy fast food alternative. If I had kids. So, yeah. Check it out. :)

I LOVE this place. It’s better than In-and-Out, Smashburger, Hodad’s, Shake Shack, etc. You can really taste the difference with the grass-fed beef. I love their classic Lounge Burger because of their house made thousand island. I get it with American cheese and it is simply simple perfect. Their onion rings make me so happy. Great blend of flavor between the breading and the onion. I made my fiancé a believer. I took him there and he thought there was no way it could be better than Shake Shack or Smashburger. He happily admitted after lunch that he was wrong. I love every location. This location is near SDSU so I would frequent it a lot but the Little Italy location was near where I worked and I loved it too. I wish this chain would expand to the east coast!

Burger Lounge is a nice break from the usual burgin’ experience. Great place to go for a good burger and some classic burg ambiance. Staff is always extremely friendly and efficient, and although I wouldn’t compare them directly to In-N-Out, I’d say they’re definitely up there. Totally different types of burgers though imo. Good milkshakes and their fries are to die for. Bit pricier than the standard burger joint, but totally worth it.

Burger lounge never disappoints, is In N out better? well, yes. However, the salads, drink selection and grass fed beef give In N out a run for its money. I think burger lounge is a bit over priced, be sure to get fresh fries and don’t forget you can order take out(call ahead). I only wish the Adams avenue location had a SIGN posted about the phone order in order to avoid any evil eyes from customers who skip the line and walk up to the register.

Pro’s: Yummy burgers(including their delicious quinoa patty!), onion rings, and chicken tenders! Their fries are pretty delicious, too. But most importantly, they have milkshakes and they are delicious and make me happy. Con’s: The pricing. I understand that the quality of their products is better than many other burger places, but the price is what keeps me from returning frequently. My boyfriend and I will both go for dinner, get 2 burgers, share a large fry order, he’ll get a beer, and we’ll end up spending $ 35.

It’s hard to distinguish between the new influx of medium range burger places nowadays. No longer are the sad razor thing patties of to be unnamed fast food joints good enough for a lot of connoisseurs today. So what is Burger Lounge’s schtick? I suppose it’s that they say their burgers are the original grass fed burger. So how does it stack up? Pretty good in my opinion. I do actually buy grass fed ground beef for myself and I think there is a difference. You are what you eat right? Cows that eat grass may cost more but I feel like I can notice the difference and that’s all that matters. It’s not the top of my list to go get a burger only because of the inconvenience of location for me… but that’s not an insult… the competition is that intense in the burger arena. Fire up those grills!

Ok ok ok, so I ordered chicken at a Burger place. That being said, the Chicken Digglers were pretty good. the slaw that comes with the Chicken Digglers is refreshing. The service was good. I was here around lunch time and it gets crowded with limited seating available. I did notice that they take phone orders for pick up. There is indoor and a very small amount of outdoor seating. I noticed that the staff did a good job at servicing the tables and cleaning them up pretty fast. The food was tasty, the one thing that really stood out was the pricing for the amount of food that you get. Maybe the customers are paying for the atmosphere and the staging of the food. Almost $ 15 for my chicken and fries.

Great service! Ambiance, cool & retro. Food is the same across the board in ALL locale. Love it because you know what to get. Love the quinoa burger and the paleo burger looks good to. Thou the fish, which is not fresh meaning frozen can be rendered. Overall, great place with delish food.
