C R Smith Painting and Drywall

Corey completed both the interior and exterior paint of our home. The project obviously took a few days and Corey was consistently prompt, thorough and worked so clean that at the end of each work day, we could not tell he was here except for the beautifully completed wall paint in each room. In addition, our exterior paint was 13 years old and includes two different paint colors as well as stain. Corey was able to match them all perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with the work of CR Smith Painting and have recommended him to numerous friends.

Corey was a pleasure to hire right from the beginning. He promptly returned my call, came out within a day to provide a quote, and was able to complete the job before expected. Not only did he come in at a competitive price for patching and painting our rental, but he went above and beyond by treating areas that had been messed up by the sloppy job of the first painters we previously hired! He provides color consultations and is patient as well with my indecisiveness. I definitely appreciate Corey’s professionalism, quality of work, and pleasant personality. I got a bid from CR Smith Painting and it was very competitive. I wanted the living area of the house repainted and the popcorn taken off of the ceiling. The house is over 40 years old and I was looking to have a contemporary look.
Corey did an excellent job. He is very professional and takes into account all the details. The walls needed to be prepared before painting and there was paneling in one room. Corey discussed the options of painting over the paneling or removing it and gave me the cost for both. I found that very helpful. Corey was also able to work with the time frame of the carpenter that I had doing some work before the room could be painted.
The job was done in a very reasonable time and the attention to detail was excellent. Corey was also very neat and when he left at the end of the day you would have not known he was there. The flooring and furniture were protected.
Corey went beyond just the painting and gave me suggestions as to colors and accents. When I had chosen the color he discussed which he felt would look best on the wall. There was no pressure for a specific color but brought to my attention things like the lighting of the room. I found this very helpful as his experience improved the finished product. I could not be happier with the completed project and would recommend CR Smith Painting to others.

Corey showed up on time as promised to paint our living room, he had the furniture covered and the room completed taped off within 30 minutes before he set of to retexture one of our walls and paint the entire room. He is the consummate professional. Anyone can paint but Corey really pays attention to the small details and in the end that’s what really matters to us. I would highly recommend Corey for any paint job, we will be using him in the near future for a second job.

CR Smith Painting just finished painting the entire interior of our house. It looks fabulous! Corey is very professional and came prepared. He is very thorough in his prep work, covering all floors and furniture and also did a great job leaving the house clean when he was finished. All work was done to our expectations and Corey was very good about coming back to do some touch up work for us. Job super well done, couldn’t have asked for better.

I had cr smith painting remove the popcorn celings in my apartment in san marcos because i was sick of having the ugly stuff in there. I called a few other people that I found online to find the best estimates. Corey’s bid was like $ 250 less than any one else which worries me because I was afraid that could mean worse quality. Thankfully, I was VERy wrong! He actually came a few mintues early just to talk to me and clarify everything to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. He was very knowledgeable and respectful but he also spoke in language I could understand which some men would not do. Every thing in my apartment was protected. He put plastic on the floors, the walls, furniture and every thing so that nothing would get dirty. I wanted smooth texture and it came out perfect! tottaly smooth and much better than that ugly, outdated popcorn. When corey was done he cleaned up every thing, I didnt find any trash or paint anywhere. In the past when I have had other people work on my home, they were so dirty leaving trash everywhere and not being respectful. Corey was super respectful and professional and I didn’t even feel worried with a stranger in my home. I would definatly have him back to do more !
