Honestly the worst drive thru in the world. I waited for 20 minutes and had little to no gas. I asked for a discount and they were rude about it and never gave me one. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Rude mgr and employees I asked for the advertised deal on Windows and the mgr on duty said they couldn’t honor it anymore despite it being up still, then asked for a Taco salad and they said it was closed even thought it’s a 24 hr location. Then I placed a order and they acted like I was rude and it was my fault then waited 12 min with only 2 cars in front of me for my order.. I’ve emailed. They responded and said they would get in contact with me, reminded them a few days later. Still nothing. Now it’s over a week. Noting. Bad management Bad follow-through Bad service If I could give it 0 stars I would. Update mira Mesa mgr. Was covering and was super helpful and helped me out. Maybe she should be transfered here. Her help moved my opinion.

The drive through wait is absolutely ridiculous. I have been stuck in this for up to 20 minutes only for them to get my order wrong then hand me cold food. They also hardly ever have decaf coffee available, if you want decaf expect to wait another 15 minutes! Would not reccomend this location for breakfast

I don’t go here anymore. I have gotten the runs the past two times and I have an Iron stomach(lived in Southeast Asia for 3 years) Btw I ordered the famous star both times.

Like any other fast food place, it is hit or miss. Sometimes the service is quick and other times it is extremely slow. The food also can be really good or not that great. I had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit the other day that was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time. My only real complaint is since the remodel there is no covering on the drive thru. While waiting in the drive through the sun beats down on you and it gets very hot.

The great Otis himself would have to cast a spell upon me to convince that this isn’t the greatest Carl’s Jr; Green Burrito combo restaurant. Adrian has helped us every time. And he has the best customer service than any other fast food joint south west of Nevada. They fired up the grills when we had a special request. The cook also was awesome for doing what he did for us. Hands down the best CJ’s/GB’s in San Diego.

They need to hire more people! Yesterday 7÷3÷2015 went in to get dinner a family of 6 was in front of me they ordered sat down I ordered next only 2 people were working plus drive thru was also ordering food by the time I got my burger it was like 20 minutes and the family of six wasn’t even serviced yet anyway this woman came in while I was waiting she asked if there was a dollar menu I said nope wrong place she was looking around grabbed a cup from counter and proceeded to drink station and got herself soda and walked out… employees should keep cups far away so people won’t attempt to get a cup and steal soda

Never, ever go to this drive-thru at lunch time or if you don’t mind spending 10+ minutes waiting in a motionless line.

This place blows royally. They NEVER get my order right, the food is disgusting, and the employees are incompetent. A few days ago I ordered a burrito(out of desperation because I couldn’t go anywhere else due to the time) and the burrito was FROZEN inside. This is probably the 6th time I’ve been here and the same crap over and over again. So frustrating.

Absolute WORSTSERVICEEVER! Stuck in the drive thru for 20 minutes. All I ordered was 2 chicken tacos with lettuce avd it took them 6 times to understand. When I got to the window, the order was wrong. Ridiculous

This has to be the worst Carls Jr. Ever!!! Every single time I come here I have to wait at least 10 minutes for my order. Right now I’m at 20 minutes and still waiting!!! How do you call this a fast food joint??? Awful!!!

OMG… ordered the grilled chicken salad at 8:30 last night, lettuce was warm, wilted and chicken tasted spoiled old, disgusted and a waste of my money. Eat at your own risk!

I grew up 2 blocks from this location so I have been going there for literally my entire life. I thought things would change for the better after the complete rebuild but it has gone steadily downhill. Last time I was there I went through the drive thru, service was ok but when I got my chicken teriyaki sandwich and zucinni home I was super disappointed. The zucinni were really undercooked and almost gooey and when I tried to take a bite of my sandwich I could not even bite through the chicken breast. It was a strange mixture of really hard and rubbery. I kinda kept waiting for Ashton kutcher to jump out and say I was on punked holding a rubber chicken. Bummed my childhood memories had to be tainted with such poor food quality.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Carl’s Jr. or fast food in general, but it was one of those chilly Monday nights at 10pm when you definitely deserved a burger and crispy fries after an intense day of studying and working. Not only was I able to satisfy my hunger with an order of a Western Bacon Cheeseburger and waffle fries, but the customer service was also great! Jorge was super friendly and amicable, and my food came out in a jiffy! Definitely looking forward to a busy year of late-night runs to Carl’s Jr.

Carls, or as we East Coasters call it, ‘Hardees’ — makes the best fast food burgers compared to the rest(McD’s, Burger King, etc). I like this location since they’ve remodeled it a few years ago. Great service and hot food when ordered. What more could you ask for?

Their breakfast bisquits are the bomb. Originally made by Hardee’s, these flaky hot morsels of deliciousness are served with sausage, bacon, jelly, or gravy. certainly not to eat daily, but if your diet will allow it, treat yourself and start your morning off with one of these bisquits.

The food here is good(of course it is – it’s Carls Jr), but the workers are incompetent. I don’t know how Unilocal manages profanity in reviews, so I’ll do everything I can to refrain. But if this were by word of mouth, you can expect every profane word that you know to leave my mouth. The service being rude is an understatement. The thing that frustrates me most is that I can’t even boycott this location as a sign of protest. If anyone knows how to get a manager fired, can you let me know?

The drive through line was quite slow and although my order was correct on the screen, we were given the wrong food and given attitude for asking for napkins(they hadn’t given us any at this point). So, the food was wrong, but at least the service was rude.

My Jalapeño turkey burger for $ 3.59 had a spicy zip, and I split this sandwich with a hungry Unilocaler. We both enjoyed it. I will order it again when I’m in a hurry. This Carl’s Jr. was a little slow for fast food, but at least the food was decent. I also ate the buttermilk ranch chicken tender sandwich for $ 2.99, which was full of calories and just ok. I wouldn’t order it again. It’s made with more than 1 chicken tender, so the breading on the chicken makes this a less healthy choice. We didn’t have any fries. I notice they also have sweet potato fries, but I haven’t tried them. This Carl’s Jr. is on governor drive and has been remodeled, and is combined with Green Burrito. There is a television in the dining area. The staff wasn’t able to describe the jalapeño turkey burger accurately, but luckily we enjoyed it anyway.

7:33AM August 19th, 2013… There’s a long line wrapped around the building… shit, am I too late…78,79, 80, 81, 82! I’m number 82! YES! For the Grand Reopening, Carl’s tore down the old building and built a brand new one, which is about .22 miles from my condo. The first 100 customers at 9:00am got free food a year… and I was number 82! I didn’t get to actually order until about 9:45AM, but I figured 2 hours of my life for $ 364 worth of free food was worth it($ 7 meal X 52 weeks = $ 364). Unfortunately, the booklet with 52 food tickets wasn’t quite what I had imagined. Each ticket is good for 1 specfic food item per week. Week 1: Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Week 2: Teriyaki Burger, Week 3: Famous Superstar… etc etc. Nice strategy there Carl! Trying get all 100 of us cheapasses to buy an order fries and drink since we’re getting a free burger. I ain’t falling for it! Oh wait… I probably will… doh! So my $ 364 is probably more like $ 182… Regardless, the free Western Bacon Cheeseburger and free Teriyaki Burger I’ve had so far were both quite tasty, so I’m looking forward to the next 50 free burgers! :D
