Carmel Creek Park

since my kid were babies we have loved coming to this park.
it is my first choice of park in Carmel valley (and i’ve tried most of them)
it is walking distance from home and close to shops/​restaurants
clean bathrooms that are open
lots of grass area for kids to run around
huge sandbox with two different play structures and awesome swings! both kid kids swings and baby swings (separated into two different swingsets).
a sidewalk that goes around the sandbox area (perfect for kids to ride trikes, bikes, scooters etc…)
we taught both our kids to bike ride here
my kids have always said that the play structures are best here
lot’s of trees for shade… and all within eyesight of the playground so you can watch your kids play
tons of parking… both lot and street (street is almost more convenient than lot… if you’re carrying a bunch of stuff)
always a bday party or two happening at this park (perfect place for a spring/​summer party!)
