Charlie’s Tortas

This taco truck stands apart from the others in the neighborhood mainly through its menu. For one thing, rather than focus exclusively on fish tacos, you can eat a variety of land animals on your taco instead, all for $ 1 apiece. For another, they sell egg dishes, club sandwiches, hot dogs (sorry, not the Mexican variety) and the like, to more broadly Americanize their offerings. I can only say I’ve tried their $ 1 tacos, and they are solid, if unremarkable. Any vegetables that end up on the tacos tend to look a little beat up, but from my experience, they make up for it by smiling and being generally very nice. Especially nice considering I’ve bought lunch from them for only 2 bucks.
