Chef Delano

Absoultely amazing. First off, I normally wouldn’t give 5 stars for something like this but I had to give him the extra star because of this DYNAMITE hot sauce he had called Howler Monkey. It had it’s own unique taste and it wasn’t TOO hot which I liked. The empanada was great. Extremely tasty, well seasoned beef. I hope I run into Chef on the streets again soon so I can buy another!
Also, he has several different variations of empanadas. I tried the original beef.

I have never had an empanadas before and having Chef Delano’s have ruined me for any others. After tasting one of his I decided to try another from somewhere else and it couldn’t even compare. I will only ever eat his again.
I have tried the curry and beef ones and they were both wonderful. Adding any of his many sauces adds so much flavor to them and makes them ever more delightful. I would buy any of them again in a heart beat.

The best empenadas in San Diego! Seriously I eat them all the time.

Chef Delano’s empanadas are DELICIOUS. You can find him outside various events and clubs (follow @panaempanada on Twitter to find out where). I have had both the beef and the curry ones and they are both out of this world. After a couple hours of drinking and dancing, there is nothing more satisfying than this gourmet fried food!

I tried one of Chef Delano’s empanadas a few weeks back… careful, they are HOT when they come out of the fryer! I had the seasoned beef and it was great. Make sure you try some of his exclusive hot sauces as well.

Major Events hired Ched Delano to provide his freshly made empanadas for a 120 person tailgate we were hired to cater.
All I can say is… they were a hit!!! Numerous guests commented on the punch of flavors these little flaky guys provided!!!
From start to finish, Chef was a delight to work with… he was prompt in returning my initial inquiry… sent me some choices of fillings… set me up for $ 500 plus service and gratuity… showed up on time… setup fast… served everyone with a smile (even educating some guests on how to make empanadas), cleaned up perfectly!!!
Looking forward to working with this talented chef again!!!
