A group of my friends and I decided to go to SD for my birthday and wanted to go to a bunch of different places. So we bought tickets for the club crawl which are $ 25 and it includes drink specials at the 1st club no covers and no lines. The drink specials weren’t too impressive it was just $ 5 fireball shots. The crawl itself is layed out kind of weird because the 1st bar and the 3rd bar are pretty close to each other but the 2nd is like 3 blocks away so you have to walk all the way over there then all the way back. The leaders are great one stayed with me the whole time when we got separated when I lost my friends. I just wish they made some kind of announcement at each bar when it was time to go because I had to keep track of the time which is apparently a struggle when drinking. Overall 4 clubs was a little much to try to fit into one night but it was good for someone who has never been and wants to check out multiple places.

We went on a Saturday, regular weekend night. About me. Professional clubber in various communities, with variety of music, and rarely frequent the same locations. I can quite easily get into clubs and pay no cover. I have partied at the clubs on the list. With that being said, I thought it might be interesting to do a club crawl, minus the hustle and bustle of lines. Minus the smizing at the men at the front door. The Club Crawl concept is ingenious. First, these are the popularized clubs that cost the same price as one individually. *This was our selection-(Analog, Fluxx, Andaz and Parq). Second, the timing from club to club is just enough before you may become aesthetically bored. You know how sometimes you are out but stay because you have already paid cover and invested in the alcohol? Well Club Crawl takes that element away. Essentially, it is more than adequate time to get a drink, dance about 10 songs, and flirt your way through temptation with a prospect and leave. The clubs play mostly hip hop and dance music. Every host is professional. Uria understood professionalism. He had clear boundaries even when ladies were trying to distract him. He ensured that he walked around the clubs to remind people of their time and he engaged in conversations. No pompousness experienced. Analog craftily played club music to hype the crowd and set the scene. Analog is a club with or without club crawl so it may be a spot to come back to in the future. Fluxx is just a cool vibe venue. Nice scenery, medium intimate dance floor. Andaz is the rooftop in downtown San Diego. Sound system sucks, yes it does but the view is amazing. And Parq… a complete show of cirque du soleil and transformers. It is wild. Just some essentials if you are considering: Parking downtown is hit or miss but make sure you arrive by 1020 p.m. You are not tied to club crawl once you enter the facilities. Just make sure you meet where you are supposed to once you are in the club. Club Crawl brings a very attractive and exploratory crowd. Most folks are too prudish or lack genius to try Club Crawl because of complaints about a $ 30 dollar ticket. Boo for them. Seriously, buy your ticket early. Drinks at all the bars are still expensive. If you decide to leave club crawl you can. The hosts are monitoring the crowd but gee-whillikers they are not responsible for you. Drink responsibly. If you are your friends are lushes do not ruin for the crowd having a great time. Most times you cannot get into these clubs after 11 p.m. so nip that quickly and buy your club crawl. The best time for a girls night out. Bachelorette party, Bachelor party. Because your friends are visiting. Because you want to do something new. Because you want to explore some choices that downtown offers. If you are not a frequent downtowner partier, absolutely, Club Crawl is the only answer. I hope by summer that more clubs are added to the list-Hard Rock, Cake etc. Recommendations for Club Crawl Time texted reminders. Establish a partnership with a parking business to block off spots for an additional optional cost. Drink specials at all locations or discounted.

One of the best nights I’ve had since living in San Diego! If you want to go out and have the time of your life but don’t want to spend all of your hard earned money on the expensive night life, I suggest you jump on board the club crawl! There is always cool people to meet, and the hottest clubs to go to! I’ll definitely recommend the club crawl to anyone!

This is my first time writing on Unilocal but I thought it was much needed after experiencing San Diego. My friends and I made a random trip to San Diego not knowing a single person and ended up having a BLAST at the crawl. What I really liked most about the crawl is that you get good since of what SD’s nightlife has to offer in one night. Just imagine having no stress of waiting in long lines and paying ridiculous covers. I cant remember the short black guy in the suits name who ran the crawl but that guy sure knows how to make a group feel welcomed and keep the energy going as you walk from spot to spot. Also this is a side note but I did get lucky that night… No Pharrell lol.

Very disappointed with this. We couldn’t find the club were supposed to be in. Our contact pointed us to a different club than what they sent in their email. People who are connected to this club crawl who gave us our wrist band for entrance are not friendly at all. Also, the bouncer in the club does not honor our passes but prioritize only those who purchased the ticket for their club. It’s such a mess.

Don’t know if the price for the new years eve clubs was worth it, but it was a good time. It seemed disorganized since we couldn’t get into the first bar because they said it was full, but our hosts Carlos and Mariana were cool and made sure we were having fun. Basement at the end wasn’t the greatest club, been to better, but the music was good.

To say that Club Crawl San Diego hosted a memorable New Years Eve event would be an understatement, unfortunately it will be remembered for all of the wrong reasons. Our chaotic night began at Tin Roof at 9pm as per the directions. We were greeted with a line that wrapped around the building and after waiting in it for nearly an hour we reached the front. At that point the bouncer refused entry to us because the bar was at capacity and only granted entry to those who had purchased tickets specifically for that venue. We were finally greeted by our seemingly inebriated club crawl guide who informed us we were going to forego Tin Roof and wait outside until it was time to go to The Crazy Goose. The highlight of this entire fiasco was enjoying a brief hour of warmth and a cocktail at The Crazy Goose before heading to Bassmnt. According to the advertisement, Club Crawl San Diego was guaranteeing«V.I.P. entry to Bassmnt to bypass the regular line». If V.I.P. entry is an acronym for Very Inexcusable Prolonged entry then it was spot on. Apparently Bassmnt had not received payment from Club Crawl San Diego so we stood outside in a line, meanwhile the large group of club crawlers became a bit riotous demanding refunds before finally being let inside at 11:30. I understand that New Years Eve can be a hectic night downtown, but that is precisely why our group of seven paid $ 65 per ticket for this club crawl. The experience was intended to alleviate the hassle of dealing with long lines and grants the participants the opportunity to visit multiple venues. Needless to say Club Crawl San Diego defaulted on those obligations. The entire event was extremely disorganized and chaotic. The communication between the club crawl and the venues was nonexistent. Could the experience have been worse? Sure. Could it have been better? Absolutely! Overall we were all very disappointed. We had really high hopes for this experience because we have done club crawls in the past that have gone off without a hitch, but Club Crawl San Diego was not one of them.

I think that this is very important feedback that your company should be aware of because this will be the first and last time I will use your service. I am extremely displeased with the service that my friends and I received on New Year’s Eve. As the directions mentioned on the event page, we started our night at Tin Roof and encountered a line that wrapped around the building. This was just the beginning of a very disorganized night. We spoke to multiple personnel to ask for assistance and there was not a single person that was aware of the club crawl. Finally we were directed to contact a gentleman [at 619−718−0996] that would have more information about the crawl, however it took him over an hour to respond. During this time, my friends and I waited around and opted to another bar and were charged an additional amount for entry. After an hour had gone by, we received a text from the gentleman to meet the group at JSix. We were told that a woman would be waiting outside for us to let us in, but once again, no one was there to assist us. It’s safe to say that we never ended our night at Omnia, as it was advertised on the event page. I understand that New Year’s Eve can be hectic, but your team should be prepared for these type of situations, especially when you are fully aware of the amount of customers that are attending this event. It is unfortunate that we paid almost $ 100 each for this experience and did not receive the proper assistance. There was an extreme lack of communication that heavily contributed to ruining our night. Our New Year’s ended better than this!

Thank you SD Club Crawl for an awesome time in SD! I came here to SD to run a marathon and looking to celebrate we decided to do the club crawl. It was awesome and we partied like it was 1997. Thank you Marianna D or as we called her that night the Polish Princess or Bikini Babe for a great time. We will definitely tell our friends about SD Club Crawl, thanks again!

Definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a convenient way to explore some of downtown SD’s finest clubs and bars. Our host Dwan really made our trip! She brings so much energy and excitement to the group and does a phenomenal job of making sure everyone has a good time. Will definitely do it again!

I came to San Diego for a bachelorette party, there was a total of 8 girls. We planned on this club crawl we were super excited to visit the four clubs on the lost for that night! Meet at Analog 10pm * walked in got our wristbands and took some pictures and danced and got a drink. Was told to meet outside at 10:30pm by the tree. Total I think there was 55 people in the crawl. Our first stop was supposed to be Fluxx so we walked to the club and they were at capacity and wouldn’t let us in. I thought the crawl talked to the club so we could get into the bars without waiting and they would have room for us but that’s not how it worked this night. Our leader said we would walk to the next club right around the corner and come back to Fluxx later, so we began our walk they literally walked us in a huge circle and we didn’t even go to the next club on our list which was supposed to be Andaz rooftop bar. They took us to BangBang and told us to stand in line. The point of this was so we didn’t have to wait in line… So we were waiting in line and then people were throwing a fit because this was not working how it was supposed to. Finally they told us that we were going to go to SideBar and we would come back to Fluxx and Andaz later, take I’m account this started at 10pm we didn’t even get into another bar besides our beginning one at Analog till 11:50pm! We decided to rip off our wrist bands and stay at bang bang since we have already been in line forever and we were at the front! We paid $ 25 for nothing! We didn’t get into a single club that was on the list. Everything seems so disorganized, what a waste of 2 hours at the beginning. We started with 55 people and by the end they had like 4 people left. Totally pointless. We stayed at BangBang and enjoyed our night. We were not going to follow them around to other clubs when they were going to have us wait in lines when that was the whole point of this was so we skip the line and get in… I won’t recommend this for anyone to do. We heard great things about it and it was horrible. Might as well just walk to whatever clubs u want and do it like normal.

Tips: –Ladies and gentleman wear sexy shoes that will allow you to walk at least 10 blocks and dance for hours in(impossible). –Their schedule changes every day and its listed on their website. –This is not«VIP» you will still wait in lines, check id at every club, walk around to each location, follow dress code, like every other clubbing night. –Order tickets online, they tend to fill up quick especially on holidays or vacation time. Always a great time with club crawl. I first tried this on New Years and had a blast!(Aside from my feet killing me) I don’t remember exactly where we went in New Years but I remember we started at a bar, then headed to sidebar, another club, and ended up at Andaz and had the best time there for the countdown. I decided to try the club crawl again just recently for a birthday and had a good time again as well. We started the night at Analog, headed to fluxx and other 2 clubs. I knocked my review down a start because it was kind of hectic walking around the busy streets of downtown with 100 people and half of them intoxicated wearing stilettos. I didn’t know who I was following or what was going on half of the time i was just going with the flow. I crossed the street many times when I was not supposed to because we were so many people the green light wouldnt last long enough for everyone to cross. I would recommend The group leaders should have a sign or uniform or something of that sort, because there are several club crawls going on at the same time can be confusing to some. Check them out!

San Diego Club Crawl was SOOMUCHFUN! I did it 2 nights in a row! I was just visiting from out of town and it was the best possible way for me to truly experience San Diego nightlife. I was able to skip the stress of figuring out where to go, pay expensive covers, and wait in long lines. The first night I went by myself and made so many new friends. The hosts were so sweet, especially LISA, who is forever just one of my favorite people. I admire all the club crawlers who know how to lead a massive army of drunk people and get them safely to the next club all in one piece. Impressive! Club crawl is great for bachelorette parties(there were a few of these when I went and they were SOFUN to hang out with) and tourists(Ello, are you from London?! Bloody Hell) and all kinds of great people just looking for a good time. Everyone is warm and friendly or drunk and funny. The clubs we went to were all so unique and awesome in their own ways. Between both nights, we went to Bassment, Fluxx, Sevilla, Andaz, and Sidebar. The actor who plays Johnny Drama in Entourage was at Fluxx which was so cool! He shot me a ‘blue steel’ look and I’m pretty sure we’re pretty much dating now. Anyways, definitely a good time!

My fiancé went to SD for his bachelor party in June. I secretly plotted with Lisa @ Club Crawl for a month on the best places for 12 dudes to party in the Gas Lamp AND coordinate a surprise visit by his one and only — ME! We did a private crawl, which I highly recommend for a large group, especially if it’s a special occasion(but even if it’s any old weekend). It’s so easy to customize your experience and very affordable. Definitely the way to go to get a taste of the best SD has to offer. The entire Club Crawl team made the whole planning process a breeze, and because the whole team got into it, even the planning part was a fun experience too. Their website has all the information you need, but the ability to communicate with them directly definitely helped with our special circumstances and I can’t tell you how reassuring it was. I knew from the get-go that we would be in good hands. They gave excellent recommendations on where to go, which was especially helpful for a non-local. The entire team was very easy to communicate with — they understood how important it was to have a smooth event + a fool-proof surprise for the Man of the Hour. Finally, I have to give a shout out to another KEY player in all of this — our personal host, ANGELA! Graceful, friendly, savvy — she made the entire evening smooth and easy. Communication and coordination was key for a group our size, which is not always an easy task but she handled it like a pro. Thanks Angela & the entire Club Crawl Team. Looking forward to doing this again!

Updating a star because someone reached out to me, which I appreciate. I still wouldn’t recommend Club Crawl, but think that it says a lot about the management that they actually care and read the reviews! We did the«club crawl» for a friends bachelorette party. I wasn’t in charge of organizing it, just along for the ride. We had a group of 11 girls, and we were on one of the HUGE group club crawls, there were probably 100 – 150 people(no joke). I’m not going to spend a ton if time talking about the clubs that they bring you to, everyone has their own opinion of each club and I’m no longer a big frequenter of the club scene(actually I never go to clubs anymore, but I used to back in the day!). I do have to say that the first stop(or the meeting place), Analog, was horrible. Awful crowd, didn’t carry certain beer and liquor that our group requested, rude bartender, awful and somewhat offensive music and no dress code enforced(I saw a girl walk by in tennis shoes and a tshirt). Terrible way to start the night, but thankfully it was a quick stop. My biggest complaint about the Club Crawl was the logistics of the whole thing. Every time you leave one club to head to another, you are completely backtracking which means you spend tons of time walking instead if enjoying yourself, the girls feet are killing them by the time you get to the 2nd bar(not from dancing, from walking so long unnecessarily!). The order of the clubs is what causes this, you should start at one end of downtown and end up at the other. Also, the concept of going to 4 clubs in 1 night is just not fun, because you barely get to spend any time at each club. You can choose to stay at any of the clubs if you like instead of moving onto the next, but if you are going to do that, why pay for the club crawl at all! The majority of the Club Crawl attendees were creepy guys, definitely no one you’d want to meet and hang out with while at the club. And if you’re in a group of girls, the no line/free cover benefit doesn’t matter, because you can just walk up to any club you want and skip the line and get in free. In fact, we ditched the group and ended up walking up to one of the clubs that was on the list and not only were we escorted right in without mentioning that we were on the club crawl, we were given free champagne as soon as we entered. I also find it very suspicious that so many prop me who have given them 5 stars on Unilocal have only written 1 review or very few reviews. Seems fishy. Bottom line, unless you want to expect mince everything that I mentioned above, skip the Club Crawl!

Club crawl? I did think I would get lost or die but it was for my cousin’s birthday so I went out. Only way I would club hop is if somehow the people I was with can get us in for free. The price is reasonable which was $ 25 and that gives you access to 4 clubs that night. Well we decided just to stay at fluxx. It was the second club we went to. Trying to walk around downtown with the amount of people there and then stand in the VIP line is just crazy. I felt like the organizers needed a sign. I knew where to walk to since I looked at the schedule and I knew the clubs but some people had no idea. I’m too old for this. It is a good idea if you are young and can handle the craziness of going to 4 places in one night.

This is a great way to throw a birthday bash! That’s what I did and it was a fantastic idea. Technically it’s only 3 clubs that you go to because the first place is a bar, which is where you meet up with the other crawlers(but then again they did play music there). $ 25 for the wristband which gives you discounted drinks at the first spot, VIP line for the clubs, and definitely a great way to meet new people and have a good time in the Gaslamp. The hosts were great! I want to give a shout out to one of our hosts Ellaine(hope I spelled that right) who is super sweet and awesome! Thank you! They basically give you a time to be outside for the next club and they make sure everybody in the group gets to the next destination. Here is a poem to describe the experience… Lots of fun, Just walk don’t run, Drink a ton, Done.
