I had food delivered from here through Restaurants On The Run and it was fantastic! The sandwiches were custom and exactly as ordered, plump(lots of filling), creative(Basil & Parm Chicken Salad!) and super tasty! They came displayed in super pretty baskets that looked really nice on the table. The salad was super fresh with lots of apple, walnuts and big chunks of chicken. This was my first, but won’t be my last order from Come On In Café! Nice work guys…

Been here before when I worked at American Specialty Health nearby but now that I work a bit farther away and the boss wanted to order food from here, I thought«great, I’ll call the day of and have it delivered to us». Nope, it’s first come, first serve and the earliest they could get our lunches delivered was 12:30 when we needed it for 11:30 am, so I went to pick it up. Parking is a bit difficult since there’s so many industrial businesses around and parking is limited, so I had to park on the street and walk to and from with the food. Ugh. I got their Come On In salad with a scoop of curried chicken and it was really good. The prices aren’t so great for lunch, it’s kind of pricey for salads, but the take out salads are pretty big, so It makes up for it.

I will never buy from this place again. The service is terrible and ingredients are overpriced and sub par. I texted in a really simple order and they messed up my sandwich TWICE!!! If I ever need lunch again I will jump in my car and go else where. The cashier was rude even though it was her mistake and she really ruined my entire lunch today.

Our Company just moved into the building next door and this place couldn’t be more convenient. I love their«text your order» service. It’s fast, the food is good and reasonably priced. They are open for breakfast and lunch but so far I have only had lunch. Top quality meats on the sandwiches. There is seating both inside and out so I would recommend this to my friends and co-workers.

The only reason I come here is because every other food place in close proximity to my job REALLY sucks! This place is just ok. The ingredients taste fresh but the dishes are just okay. In my opinion the food is overpriced since it is not mind blowing. There is always a long line at noon so if you don’t mind waiting… What I really like here are the wraps. Other than that it is pretty ordinary but the food is not bad. I will continue to come here since I don’t like to drive far for my food.

We catered lunch from here for an office of 7. Overall thoughts from the office were ‘meh’, «ok», «decent», and«not bad», but it definitely doesn’t get my approval. The«grilled salmon» sandwich was a processed salmon patty — gross! The focaccia bread was the best part, yet doesn’t inspire me enough to order it again. There are plenty of other places we can order from with much fresher ingredients. Sounds like from other reviews that it’s a convenient option if you’re in Sorrento Valley, but if you want high quality food, I’d look elsewhere.

Seems like this Come on in is following suit with the rest of the come on in cafés. A few years back this place was legit but now they are no where near as good as they used to be. I remember the breakfast burrito was loaded and got ya filled up right but now it’s no where near as filling but the price tag is still the same. Folks including myself would walk two blocks away then head off to this place for lunch… two expensive and not worth the time

I eat here at least once a week. The food is okay, but the service is so beyond slow its not even funny. Almost every customer waiting on their food seems to go back to the counter asking when it will be ready. Half an hour to make a salad.

This place is good for lunch. I like their paninis and the pastas… They also have pizzas which I heard are very good. people tell me their salads are very tasty… the place gets busy during lunch and it doesnt have many tables. so usually it takes sometime to find a seat. But the food is worth the wait

My food was good, but a little pricey. I ordered a wrap that was supposed to have avocado in it, but it didn’t…bummer.

I work close by so this is a decent place that I go to at least once a week. The food is pretty good and the prices fair. Since I’ve been going to this place more or less weekly for more than 3 years I’m starting to be a little tired of the food options, but it’s always very consistent, never had any bad food here.

Nice little lunch spot with average service, food etc. It’s nice that they provide a somewhat healthy options as apposed to the fast food that tends to inundate the Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley food courts.

Those of us who work near Come on In complain about it all the time. It’s expensive. And there is no reason to eat here unless you work nearby. But I have to admit, some of the things I’ve gotten here are downright tasty. The basil chicken salad sandwich with arugula on sourdough is kind of delicious. The egg salad sandwich(which is the cheapest sandwich at $ 5 something) is actually pretty good too. I did get a Mexican hot chocolate once and thought it was blah. I will stick with my egg salad and chicken salad!

My office has had lunch delivered from this café several times and I never realized that it was just down the street! Food: Good Ambiance: Business Park Café Price: Average Service: Fast Accessability/Parking: Great The café is nestled into a business development right next to . I met a friend here for lunch the other day and we both enjoyed the food. The menu has a nice selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches and if you’re looking for a little more variety than Subway, this is the place to go. There are about a dozen tables total between inside and outside and it seemed like this was the type of place where people grab their lunch and go. There was plenty of seating inside and outside if you want to dine in. If not, there is a parking lot and garage right next door so this place is really accessible.

I work at the Active Network, so this place automatically gets one star simply for being there, for the convenience factor. The staff is very friendly, so they get another star. Unfortunately, the story ends there. Sadly, the quality of the food is mediocre at best, sometimes even less than mediocre. The bread they use for their sandwiches has as much flavor as a piece of paper. The sauces for their pastas are more one-dimensional than Ragu out of the jar. Occasionally the soup or pizzas rise slightly above mediocre, which is why I didn’t take away one of the two stars. I’m not a food snob, so don’t discount this review as such. It’s just that I eat there frequently because it’s easier than having to drive somewhere, so I’ve had enough bad experiences to prompt me to write this. Case in point: The egg salad sandwich I had today. The egg salad was so cold that I wasn’t surprised to find it crunchy with ice crystals — it was partially FROZEN! C’mon, Come On! The cherry on the cake: overpriced. They definitely are adding in an extra convenience cost for the captive clientele in the surrounding offices.

I love Come On In Café! I’m sad I no longer work in the area so it will be hard for me to stop by for lunch from now on… The prices here are very good. I usually go with a half sandwich and cup of soup for less than $ 7! The quality is great also. Everything is always hot and fresh just the way I like it. It tends to get busy during the lunch rush since it is only one of a few quality delis in the busy Sorrento Valley area. But they are very efficient so you won’t have to waste your lunch hour waiting for some food. They welcome call-in orders to go and they even let you order your food in advance if you’ll be dining in! The baked goods are delicious as well!

You’ve been inside so long that you can’t remember if it is sunny outside, or possibly raining. And as you step out of your air conditioned cave, a blast of heat hits you and suddenly your senses are revived. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it’s actually a gorgeous day. — Too gorgeous a day to be stuck at work. That’s why I love this place. It’s in the middle of the technology industry in Sorrento Valley, yet they have very healthy, decently priced meals which make great alternatives to McDonalds and Chili’s. Plus, they have a few tables outside with that great breeze and not to mention, delicious food. You can definitely tell they bake their own bread here, it was chewy and sweet at the same time. This will quickly become a regular spot for my Monday through Friday lunch venture. I wouldn’t mind even bringing my own bag and sitting at one of these tables for my hour of freedom.
