My wife and I were visiting San Diego and decided to go to this club for a hopefully amusing evening. The problem is they do not give out the address until you have paid for membership and an event fee (a grand total of $ 75 for the evening in question). It turns out — after we’d shelled out the money — that the club is in Miramar, which is fine if you’re local and have a car, but if you’re staying at a waterfront hotel it will cost you a hefty $ 150 minimum to get there and back, even using the somewhat cheaper cab service they recommend. So okay, this was partly our mistake, and we politely requested that the event fee be refunded since we weren’t about to shell out more than $ 200 for a couple of hours of sordid entertainment (we did not ask for a refund of the membership fee).
The club responded with an annoying email that essentially berated us for what we’d done, but said they «would be happy to refund» the cost… and that was the last we ever heard from them. I wrote several times, politely requesting that they process the refund as they said they would, but a month later they have still not even bothered to give us the courtesy of a response. They could have resolved this easily and cordially (as we repeatedly tried to), but apparently keeping $ 55 is more important to them than having any sort of integrity.
We have dealt with similar clubs and have had consistently good, friendly experiences… this was definitely not one of them. So take heed of the negative reviews here that talk about rudeness and rip-​off, because there’s a good chance that you’ll experience the same thing.

Have been here many, many times. Owners are fabulous and very warm and welcoming. Club is clean, tons of fun, and very low pressure. Hubby and I were newbies to anything «lifestyle» and were definitely not overwhelmed or scared after coming here.
I love that it’s byob, and it’s always full of awesome people. Definitely a great place to hang out on the weekends. :)

These clubs exist?! What a trip! This was my first experience at a «lifestyle» scene. I think it’s perfect for newbies or couples that need easing into the lifestyle. Very low key and secretive place, but to my surprise it has been here for 4 years!
Theres absolutely no peer pressure here at CRAVE. Everyone is friendly and fun. Membership is only $ 20 for a entire year! No additional event fee for single ladies! The best night to come is definitely Saturdays, where it is couples and single ladies only. No single men! The dress code is club attire, unless there is a theme for that night. CRAVE provides two kinds of atmosphere. In one room, its a club type environment with the DJ and bar. The other room provides a lounge kind of feel with love sofas and a pool table. Its a pretty big venue they have, with their own private parking lot too. Theres plenty of parking.
I’m really happy I found a place that I enjoy drinking and dancing at that is NOT in the downtown area. Saves me all the downtown hassle and prices!
TIPS:
— BYOB, They don’t sell alcohol, only mixers are provided behind the bar.
— Don’t forget to bring cash to tip the bartender.
— Ask the owner about Poker nights (if you play)

I’m a single straight female, and this was my first time out at a «lifestyle» club. I went with another single female friend.
The good: It’s a nice place, clean. The manager and owner were friendly and welcoming. There’s a pool table.
The bad: this is not a good environment for singles. We were there for 2 hours, and during that time we pretty much were bored out of our minds. The couples clung to each other like life rafts on a sinking ship, and even though the club recruits single females, we were the only single gals there. We tried to mingle, but the couples (a few of whom were actually hot), kept saying hi then moving away from us.
Truth be told, the couples didn’t exactly «swing» with each other, either. In general the couples made out with their own partners and ignored everyone else. Reminded me of a junior high school party where the kids go to someone’s dark basement to make out with their boyfriend or girlfriend, but certainly not to flirt with someone new.
I think a single gal in the swingers scene is often viewed with suspicion, and I certainly got that vibe at CRAVE. Considering that people enter the swingers scene so as not to be judged for their unconventional choices, I honestly expected a little more acceptance for mine.

we frequent this club with a few couples we know and it is legit. real nice and upscale. now they have «Chocolate Thursdays“so if you are into the lifestyle and black, there is no reason not to be here… this will be the new place for upscale black couples to kick it.

Overall, CRAVE is a fine establishment for those of us who are open minded individuals. We are never let down and Michael and Rakel both go out of there way to show everyone (including my fiancé’ and I) as good a time if not better than anywhere downtown.

I’m not a swinger. I’m not looking to pick up or hang out with anyone. Don’t message me about it. I just had a friend who told me the club was a lot of fun. So I went.
This was my first time at a club like this.
Bring your own alcohol and leave it at the bar with the bartender.
I walked in Saturday night about 15 minutes after 11 and the people that were there for the evening were pretty much there. Not too crowded but
Lots of people watching available to the voyeur types.
They had a dance floor with a pole lined with couches. They had many rooms with varying scenes. Cuddle areas, spanking areas and multiple beds with curtains. Some beds had their own doors.
One MAJOR GRIPE. THE DJ Saturday night SUCKED. I heard multiple songs played THREE times each. That’s just ridiculous. And he was playing downloaded music with the wrong codecs. So the music would stop and a warning would go off. Buzz kill. The music started getting more housey towards the end of the night and I started having more fun. and it was because the DJ left.
I have better playlists on You tube than he had.
Another gripe. They need a code system for these types of clubs. Its confusing when there are so many types of people.
I won’t be going back.

Hands down the best swingers club we have been to. It’s modern, clean, classy and there were lots of hot chicks and couples there.
