Love the pizza and the lasagna great food for a great price, decided to try it when I just passed and ordered my pizza didn’t take long at all, and the lasagna was exactly like homemade, the pizza was really cheesy so if you like if like that definitely come here.

Charged me extra on a one-topping without telling me. Not cool. Pizza itself is nothing special.

Good pizza for a great price. It has thick dough with lots of cheese and is decently greasy. Reminds me of pizza from the east coast. As I said before its the first place where I found a decently priced pizza, you don’t have to worry about dropping over $ 20 on a pie where you won’t have leftovers here. We always get the $ 10 takeout special. A must try!

I’ve been ordering from here about once a week for the past three years. Great local pizza joint. It reminds me of the mom-and-pop pizza places back east. The ingredients are fresh and they are generous with the toppings. The folks that work there are also super nice. It’s gotten to the point where they answer my delivery call by name and don’t have to ask for my address. Maybe that’s a sign I eat too much pizza, but I guess everyone has their vices lol.
Other than the pizza, I also order the chicken strips with french fries, the steak hoagie, and the chicken wings which are all really good. And I’m from Buffalo so I’m pretty picky about my wings. Do yourself a favor and check out this local gem.

Favorite pizza in San Diego! I live in otay ranch and my family and I always make the trip when we crave pizza. The cheesy garlic bread and antipasti salad are also favs of mine. So yummy!

So far best place in San Diego for Delicious New York style pizza. Wings and Philly cheese steak sandwich are highly recommended

Favorite pizza in San Diego. The Philly Cheese Steak is amazing and the Garlic Cheese Bread reminds me of a little Italian restaurant I use to eat at when I lived in St. Louis. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Randomly ordered take out… SO good, glad I ordered… I needed a pizza place down here, the others I’ve tried weren’t this good.

Great service and a fast delivery however I found the pizza to be really bland. I’m really only writing this review so I don’t accidentally order something from here again. They have a large menu but I don’t want to be disappointed again so I’m not even going to risk ordering something else.

I’ve probably had D’Angelo’s pizza about 10 times now and I’ve only been in the area for about 3 months. This is good, utilitarian, corner pizza that will satisfy many different tastes in pizza styles. If you do go here, get the one-topping takeout special for $ 8.99. The people working are always very friendly, and if you can grab one of the 15 minute parking spots out front it’s quite convenient! The pizza itself is greasy, yes, but the cheese is amazingly delicious. In a world where too many pizza places have started trying to class things up with wild artisan cheeses(not that there’s anything wrong with that), sometimes I want a giant layer of delicious, plain ol’ cheese on my pizza. You get what you pay for, and it’s a great, GREAT value. Four stars for the pizza that does what it sets out to do. Minus one star because the delivery was a little slow(hey, maybe all deliveries are slow) and I think the price hike for delivery on the large one topping is a little steep. That being said, avoid the delivery and just go for pick up!

I work here and occasionally get people wanting a free meal like Matty B. He bought a 16″ and returned it with just a few slices left. His story was rediculous and he even added a bug from his Roach Infested House. Anyone that eats here knows we run a clean kitchen.

When I’m craving a cheesy pizza, don’t hold me back when it comes to D’Angelo Pizzeria. Not only am I thinking, p-i-z-z-a but make it a combo with their spicy hot wings. It’s a bargain for what’s it worth. I used to have a love and hate affair with D’Angelo, but he knew better. For you locals, you know what I’m talking about! Anyhow, their salads are served fresh and their toppings as well. The fat: Home delivery is your best bet. The skinny: Parking sucks.

This place is always good! I’ve never had a bad experience with them. They always deliver in a timely manner and they have very nice delivery drivers. And of course the food is wonderful. I love their white pizza and their tuna melt.

WORST pizza I have ever had!!! Emphasis on quantity over quality! Ingredients tasted like they came out of a can… drowning in greasy, cheap cheese, the worst canned pesto i have ever had, tasted more like sour pickles than pesto, and the peppers tasted like they were out of a tin can. The crust was passable, but they drowned it in cheap ingredients. You would think you could get a decent medium pizza for thirty bucks. but not anymore I guess. Had one slice and threw it out! EEEKKKK!

Pepperoni, mushroom and olive. This is the best pizza we’ve ever had from D’angelos. I don’t know if they’re using a different cheese, or sourcing new ingredients, but«Damn Gina!» That’s a good pie!

Not THEBEST pizza, but it is still yummy. I live close by so it’s convenient. I have always called in my order and picked it up. I have frequently ordered their 1 large, 1 topping pizza. Its only $ 8.99(carryout only). The wait is normally 20 mins.

Guys, I fell in love with your pizza when I moved to SD a month ago. We have been ordering it weekly since. However, when we ask for roasted garlic on the pizza, you don’t served raw minced garlic by the tablespoons on each slice. This delivery is inedible and gross.

Order pick-up! The D’Angelo Pizza is where it’s at. I especially like the sausage they use. Crust is crisp and just thick enough to hold all the toppings. But the WINGS. I will honestly come here just for their hot wings. Right amount of sauce. Right amount of heat and lightly fried, not all greasy and crunchy. And meaty pieces. Delivery LAGS. I had to wait almost an hour once using Unilocal online ordering. 45 minutes when I phone in. 20 minute wait for carry out. Decent wait time for really fresh food. Overall, come here for the food, not atmosphere.
