Very friendly in making you feeling like sexy super star. I was really hesitant at first to come in not knowing what to expect. I was crying in the end when I saw the beautiful pictures of myself.

Last month I used a groupon to have my first boudoir photography photoshoot done at Deboudoir at their downtown San Diego studio: I did not expect it to be one of the most vital experiences of my life. From the moment I buzzed for entry on their intercom, I was treated to a royal first-​class experience. The studio itself harkens back to the romance of Paris, from the hip French music in the back ground to the spacious studio itself to the wonderful textures and romantic touches, I felt pampered and safe. The receptionist, who also did my hair and makeup, was friendly, genuine, and make my forty-​five year old face look ten years younger (I was amazed). Angie, the photograher, is in a class all by herself. I was immediately comfortable in her capable hands, and somehow she made me feel like a sexy supermodel rather than a middle aged mother – it was uncanny. Even if the photos had only been pretty good, I would have been satisfied after my photo shoot experience… but when I had my private online showing with Kelly, I was blown away with how incredible I looked! Each photo captured the best version of myself – artful, curvy, and bodacious. My husband is in love with the images, too… I will definitely be back, probably on my 50^th birthday!

The ladies at Deboudoir made this an all-​around incredible experience! From the second I walked in the door, I knew I would love this place. I was greeted by the stylist, who assured me there was plenty of time to prepare and relax (with a glass of wine!) before the shoot. She genuinely went above and beyond to provide suggestions and final touches for my outfits/​hair/​makeup, ensuring I looked and felt my best. Once everything was in place, I was escorted to the room for the actual shoot. The photographer displayed an incredible amount of patience as she helped me with various poses, explaining why certain positioning worked and what we would do next so I was never unsure of what to expect. She also went above and beyond with her time and energy to make sure we covered all the bases. Her amazing efforts ensured a wide variety to choose from when reviewing the photos. This process was a tough one as I honestly expected I would only want a few, but ended up loving so many! But the woman helping with this was incredibly patient and really allowed me to take my time. I appreciated her thoroughness and thoughtfulness, not to mention she clearly has a lot of experience and was able to provide examples of other people’s decisions in order to help me with mine. I ended up with several AMAZING photos and am truly grateful to Deboudoir!!!

Great experience. The staff made you feel very comfortable. From the hair and makeup, photo shoot and even reviewing the images everything was great. The end result was amazing… who knew i could look so good. :))

I had an amazing experience at DeBoudoir. I did a photo shoot for my husband for his wedding gift. From the moment I showed up the staff was really welcoming. I was a little nervous but they made me feel comfortable and helped me choose out of the outfits I had brought. The hair and makeup lady was kinda quarky but really cool. I do feel like I could have saved some money and done my own and it would have looked just as good. Angie was my photographer and made me feel like a supermodel. I bought a 60 minute session on groupon and ended up taking pictures for 3 hours! I actually really loved taking the shots! I chose to do the fine art session as well which was completely worth it. No I am not a model or even good in front of a camera but Angie told me exactly what to do and my pictures turned out completely amazing. Yes this gift comes with a hefty price tag but the look on my husbands face was totally worth it! I continue to recommend this place!

I cannot say enough about my experience at DeBoudoir.
At the request of my fiancé, I reluctantly agreed to do a boudoir photo shoot. Feeling a bit insecure and apprehensive, I didn’t know what to expect: would I be unhappy with my photos? Would I be too nervous to go through with this? Do I have what it takes to model in sexy lingerie? Would I be making a fool out of myself?
Immediately upon arriving, my anxieties were put at ease by Kimberly. She helped me pick out and piece together beautiful looks for my photo shoot and assured me that I was going to love the experience. Boy, was she right.
Angie, the photographer, was sensational. She has such a way with people and instantly connects. She will make you feel like a million bucks as you are posing and modeling in the studio. I felt like a supermodel! Angie helped me appreciate the beauty of the female form and really gave me such a confidence boost. She is incredibly gifted and a true artist.
A few days later after my photo shoot, I went back to view my gallery with Lulu. WOW! I was blown away by how beautiful all of the photos turned out. They were all so great, that I had SUCH a hard time choosing which ones I was going to purchase! Thanks to Lulu, I was able to narrow it down to a group of photos that I am immensely proud of.

I absolutely LOVED my Deboudoir experience! The staff is wonderful, I felt comfortable from the get-​go. The hairstylist was fab, photographer immensely talented and Amanda was a terrific assistance with helping me to choose my best photos. I am telling all of my friends to do it, can’t wait to get one of my prints on canvas!

The atmosphere definitely calmed my anxiety, I don’t know if I could ever go to anyone else! I’m 28 weeks pregnant and I got some sexy photos in which you can’t even tell I’m pregnant and many sweet maternity shots. Amazing editing and photography as well as make-​up and hair prep. Deboudoir does it all! Extremely satisfied with my shoot, I got more than I could possibly ask for.

Having a boudoir photo shoot was way out of my comfort zone and something I had never done before. To say I was nervous is an understatement! But the staff was amazing. Denise had me at ease right away and helped me pick out an outfit (They like to have a change of 4 outfits, so be sure to either bring all 4, or you can pick from their selection of outfits.) Angie was beyond AMAZING! Even though some of the poses seemed weird, I was confident she knew what she was doing. And after viewing my photos, I am so impressed with her talent as well as the editor’s. My viewing session was with Lulu and she felt like one of my friends. It was not uncomfortable at all to have yet another set of eyes looking at my photos.
I’m so glad I did this. What everyone else has said is true, ALL women NEED to do this at least once in their lives. I can’t wait to see my husband’s face when I give these to him on our anniversary.
I’m already planning ahead for my next shoot. That one will be for me :-)

Amazing experience that totally exceeded my expectations! I used a Groupon and was really impressed with the professionalism of the staff and quality of the photos I received. Everyone made me feel really comfortable. I would recommend this to any woman, and will be telling all friends all about it!

The lovely staff at the East Village Deboudoir was so professional and made me feel very at ease during every stage of my photo shoot. My hair and make up by Sara was incredible! Angie, my expert photographer, made me feel comfortable and put me in very flattering positions. Amanda helped me decide which of my 150 photos to select and did a great job giving me advice on what to choose.
This was a once in a lifetime experience that I will always remember when I look back on my sexy photos. I can’t wait to surprise my man with them!
