Denny’s

Typical Denny’s but service was on the slow side tonight. Otherwise no complaints. Good comfort food at a reasonable price and always clean.

Romeo:

Denny’s has consistent food, but, the staff take their military customers for granted. First, Denny’s reduced the number of days that a Military discount is provided. From seven days a week to two. The reason was that 90% of people were getting the discount. Duh, what did they expect when they bid to come on to the Marine Corps Air Station.
Second, the restaurant and bar service the golf course and its patrons and yet there is only one person servicing the bar eating area on weekends. The slow service has driven patrons away.
Last, there are only two servers that are capable of working the weekends. Unfortunately, so many of the patrons have given up on getting food or drinks after a round because of the poor service. Dawn and Lexy are the only two servers that can work the bar on a weekend (too bad they can’t be cloned).
The most popular beer is frequently sold out during the weekends. With modern point of sale equipment this should nearly be impossible.

Nice Denny’s. Stopped in on our way to the commissary, staff was pleasant and the food came out fast. This is the Denny’s to come to!

This place is great to grab a quick bite at two in the morning, but otherwise terrible. Service is disappointing. Food is overcooked, smoothies are chunky with ice. Waiters and kitchen staff blatantly stand on the floor watching sports (not a huge deal if they weren’t clapping and yelling.) Hosts greet occasionally (today it was just a «come this way» after she put the phone on hold. It didn’t even sound like she was on the phone with a customer. This has happened twice.) Servers don’t always observe proper waiter etiquette (refills, taking empty dishes, checking up every once in a while, etc.)
Maybe it’s just me. But I’ve been here four or five times and been disappointed every time.

This place took ove rhte old palms resteraunt on the miramar golf course, nice part they kept the full bar so you can order your grandslam and have a mimosa with it no problem
the service was quick and polite, the food was correct and not greasy which is normally a big issue with dennys
place was clean and of course a military discount lol well be back for sure
