We have twin toddlers (3 year-​old) and have only been vacationing in cities where there were families. So, this is the first time using a sitter service instead of family.
Since the hotel runs a youth camp and summer program, Destination Sitters service was utilized frequently. Hence, the hotel highly recommended it.
I did my online and Unilocal research and talked to a few folks on the phone from the agency.
The sitter Denis showed up 20 minutes before booked time. She was fully prepared with toys, books, and many other items for activities. She even recommended a great restaurant that night! Overall, we were pleased with the service and will recommend it to others.

My daughter, 6 year old granddaughter and I spent 4 days at the Paradise Point Resort in San Diego to celebrate my birthday. I thought it would be nice for my daughter and I to have a «spa day» while we were there. The resort gave me the number for Destination Sitters. I spoke to Yvonne, the woman behind this fabulous company. Even thought they were about to close for the evening, Yvonne took my cell number and made arrangements for a sitter to arrive the next morning. The sitter was a student at the University, taught at her church nursery school and was also a certified lifeguard. Kai and she did homework, craft projects, played miniature golf and went to the pool. My daughter and I had a beautiful day at the spa, knowing that Kai was in good hands. I would highly recommend this company to travelers or even to those people who aren’t traveling but need a sitter. Very, very happy with this company.
