Great Product! HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! The worst of the worst. If you can choose the manufacturer of your CGM, don’t choose Dexcom. The only way I am able to get any sort of reasonable customer service is to write letters to the CEO, Chairman of the Board and ALL of the Board of Directors.

While this company makes a great product that helps many people battle Type I Diabetes the customer service is deplorable. Expect to wait 20 – 30 minutes before even talking to a human being and then roll the dice and hope your order is correct. My advice is instead of ordering direct go through a durable medical supplier. My past experience with any of them has been far more pleasant, accurate, and less stressful. Hopefully Dexcom will read this, hire more team members, and step up their customer service.

Dexcom is transforming diabetes by providing the most advanced treatment tools in the industry. Their continuous glucose monitors allow a person with diabetes to have a full 24 seven picture of what their blood sugars doing. The low and high blood sugar alarms notify person with diabetes when there’s potentially dangerous condition and allow them to intervene before the condition becomes serious. And they truly are a company that exists to serve their patients and the community.

Dexcom makes and distributes a CGM(continuous glucose monitor) for Diabetes. So basically, every week or so, I implant a sensor into mah belly and it wirelessly transmits my blood sugar every 5 minutes to the monitor. And no, it’s not a phone. Super cool technology, makes my life so much better. However it’s expensive as all get out, and insurance doesn’t cover it. Wah! The support staff is always very friendly when I call to order supplies, or when my dexy is acting up. The sales staff is very accommodating and helpful when you are looking into the product, for example, They let me use it for a week as a trial. However, the amount of service did deteriorate after the system was purchased. Although, I’m sure they are very busy, as it’s a new company and the sales rep has a huge area. Overall, I’m stoked that they are around and making their products… I just wish I didn’t have to shell out hundreds of dollars every month to use it.
