Nick T. is right. This is where you want to come to go after any jobs that screw you over. Located in an big industrial park above Mission Valley, this office is very nice and plush. They help you fill out the paper work you need to submit and make copies too.
They will go to bat for you and eventually send a notice to the bad employer to answer to your complaints. Sometimes just the fact that a State of California official office is sending your crazy ex-​employer a letter is enough to force them to do you right. But as luck would have it in my case, it just agitated the crazy lady that once employed me even more and then it’s time to make plans to go to some kind of Labor Board meeting, where both you & the bad employer sit down to hash it out, with State of California Labor Standards Enforcement employees right there too.
I never reached that point but I was prepared for the worse. Had to deduct 1 Unilocal STAR for not being near any real public transportation and stuck at the top of a hill off Friar’s Road.
