Escape Room Police

What a great way to spend an hour! It was so much more than I expected. I was super hesitant that I would be the type of person that would enjoy this sort of thing, and wouldn’t ya know I was basically running around like a mad man trying to solve the puzzles. It was such a good feeling to have solved something. I would say without a doubt you need to do this, it’s a blast.

I need to start off by saying Constantine was a great guy.
This (at the time) was our first escape room we had tried. After reading the reviews I agree with the few on here that it is talked up a little more than it should be.
I would still recommend for people to try this place out. I honestly had a really good time and it was a blast trying to find all the pieces and fit them together, but I agree there was no cohesion on the clues. Where one was, how to find the next, how one related to the other… All this Constantine guided us through when he felt we were stuck or when we were missing something. I think that if there was a little less verbal guidance from him and more hints as to where we should look incorporated into the puzzle it would be better.
I have been to one other one in San Diego now and it opened my eyes up to how it could be a little more organized so the clues as to how to get out our more incorporated into the overall puzzle, but I still saw that this other company couldn’t fully implement all the clues/​steps directly into the puzzle.

Super fun and the owner is super nice. Agreed that the duct tape is a little ghetto but whatever. The actual puzzle and figuring out eat step was really fun. Definitely cool place to go on corporate team building events or with friends.

This is an entertaining escape room! There IS a narrative that goes with the game, so make sure you listen to the background story at the beginning. It’s brief, but can be helpful. Maybe this wasn’t the case when some other reviewers visited in the past, but there were clues in that story if you listen. There are some really fun challenges that go beyond the classic locks and puzzles that are the foundation of every escape room. The décor and the setup aren’t fancy, but we weren’t there for the ambiance, we were there for the game. Some things are duct taped in place, and that’s because people can get a little crazy and start ripping things off the walls or breaking stuff to find clues (Pro Tip: if you find a camera, see if it WORKS before smashing it to find out if there are clues inside… like the group before us did).
Clues are connected, but NOT in obvious ways. It’s a fun room, and worth a visit.

My first escape room experience. Lots of code breaking and key searching. Host was fun and offered hints for when we got stuck. Group of four and we weren’t cramped at all. Other than the jail cell…

This escape room was such a fun experience. Came with friends for my birthday. Took our group of 6 about 53 minutes to escape. It was very detailed and well thought out. All kinds of clues and puzzles to solve. The guy that runs this one was very nice and very helpful and made the experience a really good one. Highly recommend :) especially because this room was less hassle than the other escape rooms. Easier to get to and easier to make reservations!

In our quest to try puzzle rooms this was our 4rth «escape room».
First the location was in a random mini plaza, apartment like building. We found ourselves in a cinder block apartment waiting for our appointment time. We sat waiting for 30 mins while the couple infront of us finished their turn.
Next the room itself had promise but was thrown together with sharpies, duct tape and thrift store furniture.
Overall the puzzles and games were well thought out, except for the technical difficulties with locks not opening right. The host Constantine was very personable and helpful. Hopefully the decore will get better with the growing business.

My family and I had a blast solving the puzzles! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be coming back for more!!!

I loved this escape room! We had so much fun! We went with a group of four and enjoyed every minute of it. Kosta was extremely nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a solid hour of fun!

It was our first time doing an escape room, such a great time! What an experience to share with a group of friends. Puzzles were just the right level of difficulty, and the guy who ran the place was so awesome. He was nice enough to be watching us the whole time and giving us clues and hints where we needed them. Highly recommend it!

This is the first 1-​star review I have ever written, and I’m only doing it to provide honest feedback from completely unsatisfied guests. I really wanted to like this place (I mean all the other reviews are great, so I thought it was going to be an awesome Saturday night).
I’ll be honest, after my friends and I visited, we all agree that several of these 5 star reviews are flat-​out lies, or they went to a completely different location. In fact– I’m almost certain they did. If this is considered the «best one by far» then this escape room industry is doomed.
Also, I have a clue for anyone who wants to attempt this despite my suggestion otherwise… Almost nothing is a clue.
The «clues» have no story line, and literally it’s a bunch of word jumbles and and number puzzles. When you think you have a number figured out… you try to use it to unlock one of the locks. Usually that lock gets you access to some sort of key… which will unlock another lock. There are about 10 locks. When you unlock them all you win.
No story. Nothing unique.
I was expecting a well thought out room filled with clues that matched some sort of story line (like other escape rooms). However, the only story was «You need to find a briefcase filled with 1 million dollars and escape.» You don’t need to worry about any story details, because there is none unfortunately.
The room was simply a couple locked cabinets, a jail cell, and a bunch of things DUCK TAPED to the wall. Seriously… duck taped.
One last thing to note– we had a reservation and our tour started ONE HOUR late (and so did the team before us, and the team behind ours, and the team behind theirs).
Overall, I know this might sound out of place compared to all of the other reviews here, but you can save your money for a different place, OR experience an hour of number/​word jumbles in no coherent order in a room that was assembled in about 2 hours (with duck tape and $ 15 worth of locks).

What an awesome place and fun concept! Great for couples or groups. Get ready to be challenged, and figure shit out. Loved it! Highly recommended

Playing the game on the computer and playing the game in real life makes the experience much more intense. At this location, I was challenged and puzzled by the clues that were everywhere for my team and I.
As far as the room, I feel like it has a lot of potential, but what they have right now was a really good experience. The staff are verey welcoming to suggestions and open to criticisms. I herd they are looking to make another room. I can’t wait to go back an try that one.

this is a great adventure everyone should try. I went with 2 of my friends and it was a fun experience!!! I definetly recommend everyone.

This is by far the best escape room I have ever attended… I mean wow it is so worth checking out, the staff is very friendly and this was very very real, so real that my heart was beating so fast I really felt a rush that I was escaping from an actual police station!

What a crazy plece. We love escape rooms and we’ve been in a lot of escape rooms in the us, Canada and Europe. I must say that this one is the most fun, by far… this guys probably spent a furtun to make their place like that. this place keep surprising you every second you’re there. Unbelievable.
