I have used Ed’s services for three years now. He and his crew are prompt, professional, and very good at what they do. His rates are very reasonable. He is a certified arborist and knows trees, the diseases that effect trees, and how to prevent or counteract them. Evergreen also does an outstanding job of cleaning up after the job. A first class operation.

I am very pleased with the tree pruning service performed by Evergreen Tree Specialist. Ed, the owner responded promptly with the estimate, which was lower than most. During the visit, Ed also made a few quite relevant comments how the tree should to pruned, which the others missed to discuss with me.
I went with Evergreen Tree Specialist to do the job.
They showed on time and did exactly what we discussed. There was quite a mess after tree pruning, both in my backyard and on the driveway, but they cleaned up everything to the last leave and branch.
I will certainly call them again when I will need more tree services.

I had a tree to cut down. I figured I would get 3 estimates and save some money.
Evergreen Tree Specialists gave me an estimate the next day. I made an appointment and they showed up and performed the job as expected and in a good time frame. I recommend them.
Other Tree services
I called Green Leaf Tree Care, who did not respond to my message for 5 days.
I call Davey’s Tree Service. They responded right away and made an appointment for the following week. A half hour prior to the service appointment they call and say they will be late. No Problem. At the service time they call again and they are lost.

I hired this service to perform 3 servies around my property. They performed 2 and completely messed up the third. They didn’t apologize or offer to disount my fee in any way. This company is unprofessional and I would not reccomend them.

I’ve used Evergreen Tree Specialist tree care and removal to trim and landscape our residences in Point Loma. He was very professional. We would recommend his services to anyone who desires a very effiecient and effective tree specialist. Ed is also a certified arborist.
