Expert Driving School

The driving instructor was able to add us very quickly to his schedule which was great when I couldn't find anyone else due to shortages. He is flexible and will show up at school which is very handy. Those are the only positives. He is not professional and my child had a very poor experience with him. There was no build up to the driving. He threw her immediately into very busy traffic and yelled at her continually (which may have been appropriate based on where he put her). He wanted to schedule all sessions immediately without giving us time to practice. He kept calling and bugging me to schedule even when I told him we needed more time. We ended up doing the 2nd class but found someone else to go to (AAA) for real instruction. If you are only looking to check the box of instructor driving then he would be fine. He taught my daughter nothing and made her very uncomfortable. I would not give him your business unless you are desperate.

This «driving instructor» is unprofessional and rude. Not only is he rude on the phone, but also in person. His vehicle is a mess and has a foul odor. For a business vehicle, it should be kept up better. His professionalism is lacking during the driving experience and should not be allowed to teach our children how to be safe on the road. He does not seem to have an aptitude for teaching or general human interaction. I would not recommend allowing your most precious cargo to get behind the wheel with this man…

My son needed driving lessons, so I went with Expert Driving School as they had a good price and a professional-​looking website. Holy Crap! The Instructor (Bruce Bennett) came to our home to pick up my son for his first appointment reeking of cigarettes (and possibly other things, but I won’t comment on that) and proceeded to terrify my 16-​year old for the next hour or two. My son said he would never drive with Bruce again, so we began looking at other driving schools. The next day Bruce Bennett showed up at my son’s SCHOOL, and began calling him on his cell phone and saying that he was waiting for him in the school parking lot for a scheduled appointment (which no one in our family had set up). When my wife called to find out what was going on, Bruce Bennett screamed and berated her until she was in tears. I called and asked for a refund of the remaining 2 sessions and never heard a word back from Expert Driving School. DO NOT LET YOUR TEENAGER DRIVE WITH THIS GUY — it will be an AWFUL EXPERIENCE for them.

I purchased behind the wheel driving lessons for my son and the price was comparable to competing driving schools. The owner, Bruce, was my sons instructor and we were able to get lessons scheduled immediately. My son had an enjoyable experience.

A horrible experience for me and my son. Two hours of torture. Unprofessional, racist, angry, negative. Bruce spoke about his personal information, his divorce, problems with his son, and more to my son. UNACCEPTABLE. A bad, bad experience. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. I asked for a refund and was denied. His web-​site looked professional and there was a link to the web-​site from the DMV​.GOV website. I should have done my due diligence and looked up the business on the BBB web-​site. Had I done this, I would have seen the negative filed complaints and saved myself nearly $ 300 and my son two hours of torture.

I had a positive experience with the owner Bruce. He’s professional and courteous. Happy with the service.

My Granddaughter took behind the wheel driving from Bruce. I highly recommend this school to anyone for a quality driving school. Bruce went the extra mile to ensure my Granddaughter passed the road test. Bruce’s experience paid off. Bruce taught excellence, safety and being professional behind the wheel. I am confident that Sydney will develop into a better and safer driver because of Bruce’s patience. Thanks again for everything.

My son used this service for the online Driver’s Ed course only. Sign up was fine, and although it kept freezing up (could have been problem on our end, but that’s doubtful), he generally didn’t have much problem with the course.
I did not receive the certificate of completion (needed before DMV appointment) in the mail and when I inquired about it, the owner told me I was going to be charged $ 10 (usually a $ 25 administratvie fee… he told me he was ‘being nice’) for him to print it out and send it again. After much debate, I had no choice but to pay the fee so that he would send it. He printed it out while I was on the phone with him so the administrative fee really shouldn’t have been necessary. He informed me he ‘doesn’t make much off these things’ which is why he charges for reprints. He told me he believed that I didn’t receive and lose the certificate, that it wasn’t either of our fault, but he would still charge me for the reprint. He did offer a $ 10 discount if I signed up for his behind the wheel course so I could recoup the fee. I told him I would NOT sign up with him after all this (of course!) and that he should rethink the way he runs his business. Extremely unprofessional all three times I spoke on the phone with him. The last time we spoke (when I called to notify him my payment was sent) I realized he was in the car with the student as we spoke because I heard him giving some enouragement between sentences. I quickly ended the conversation. I would not go to this guy.

I called to inquire about information for behind the wheel training for my kid and the guy who answered the phone was rude and came across as being bothered with my questions. When I told this man I decided not to go with him, he asked why and I told him I was turned off by his tone and attitude he flew off the handle and told me to «F#!@-off».
After hanging up on this man, I went on-​line to research this company and found some pretty bad reviews regarding this man. I’m happy to say walking away saved me from a terrible experience, considering the experience on the phone. Save your money and time. This man shouldn’t be in the business of working with people, especially your kids.
