Fairway Termite and Pest Control

i have used Fairway Termite for active and local termite infestations numerous times. Eric and the team always come through and have competitive prices. We had a big job in Carlsbad that needed to get done quickly. An assembly line of guys came out and did the repair/​carpentry work and everything that needed to be completed. The knowledge, work ethic and skill level of the team members is impressive.

The best pest control I’ve ever used. I called them in an emergency and they showed up on the same day. Polite and professional! I would definitely use them again. Haven’t had the problem again since!!!

Sheldon came out to give me an estimate on termite and dry/​rot repairs.
I found him to be knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the processes and treatments.
He was honest and forthright, and of the bids I received, his was the one I had the most confidence in. I will recommend him to my friends and family.

They were hired by our land lord to handle a rodent problem. They were on time, friendly and informative. very professional, I will be recommending them to friends and family.

I’ve been a client of Fairway Pest for at least 5 years. Like the one review stated I too don’t have many Unilocal reviews but that is because I’m new to Unilocal and generally write reviews only if I’m utterly impressed or disappointed.
Fairway does a fantastic job. They come every other month but are willing to come between treatments at no extra charge if I see bugs. With this heat and drought I noticed a handful of ants in my house. They came out the same day I called.
Over the summer several of my neighbors required termite treatment. We thought for sure we too would need treatment simply because of proximity to the affected homes. Sheldon came out and did a free inspection and determined we were termite free! He could have easily told us we needed something done but he was 100% honest.
I highly recommend this company.

We used Fairway Termite and Pest Control last summer for ant/​spider/​silver fish control and our ants didn’t come back for a whole year. When I recently started seeing our ants crawl in the kitchen and bathrooms, I tried using the regular ant sprays, but that’s only a temporary fix as they keep coming back, especially if I leave any food or sweets on the counter. Since my husband took care of it last year and I didn’t have their info, I called around a few companies. Then I found the receipt from Fairway Termite and Pest Control from last year and after comparing the numbers, it was by far the cheapest!
I called and they came the same day! Ed was a pleasure to work with. They sprayed both inside and outside the house. The chemical they used for the inside doesn’t smell at all.
Bye bye ants… see ya, wouldn’t want to be ya!!!

The five star reviews for this place come from people with barely any other Unilocal reviews — should throw up red flags.
These guys came to do a termite inspection of one of my houses that I was going to sell. Some guy shows up and starts punching holes in all of my wood, telling me to replace about half of my house.
Conveniently he says he can do the work to fix the problems (not just termite related but also water damage related). His estimate for me to pay him — circa $ 20,000!
I’m not an idiot. I called another contractor who came out, yelled at Fairway bozo for trying to overestimate the repairs, then charged me $ 900 to fix the real problems, showing that other ones were non-​existent or not as severe.
I hope they do not prey on others who aren’t as experienced in real estate matters. They did a huge disservice to their craft and to the real builders and inspectors out there.

We recently had Fairway Pest complete termite work at our home. As first time homebuyers we had no lcue what to expect or even what steps to take. Not only was Fairway the best priced in the county, their service was amazing. Everything was taken care of and the owner, Sheldon would call to update us.
And happy to say, Termite free :)
Would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to get quality, honest work!

Used this company recently to get a termite report and inspection for my house going on the market. One call I got a date and approx. time. The day of I got a call 20 mins before arrival. They were friendly, clean cut, and did a thorough job. I had some section 1 calls, and got an outstanding bid. The work was done immediately for an excellent price by a great worker. Again, clean cut, friendly and got right to the job. There was no mess left behind and the work was excellent. I highly recommend.

I have been using Fairway Pest Control for years now to spray my house. They always do an outstanding job. I recently had them fumigate my house. The fumigation team did an excellent job! No termite problems since the fumigation! I always recommend them to my family and friends and would get great feedbacks.

We wanted to support the small family business advertised in our neighborhood flyer. Nice guy, but the actual fumigation service was subcontracted out to SD Union and was terrible. The crew that showed up to put up the tents were brutal on our landscaping. We took great care to move our plants and be prepared for the tent crew, but they did so much unnecessary damage by digging, tromping, and overall carelessness, even with us watching their work! We had a lot of landscape damage that wasn’t even next to the house from their bumping and dragging, etc. They used the hose but didn’t turn the water off completely, so the water was dripping for 48 hours with no way to turn off because it was under the tent. I will write a review for SD Union since they were the contracted providers. Fairway may be okay for other services, but I don’t recommend them for termite fumigation. He hasn’t checked in with us to follow up since the work was completed three days ago — I expected a follow up call at least.

Dug holes in the grass in my backyard to tarp neighbors house for termites. Really did nothing to fix it. Worst part is I didnt hire them and my yard suffered. Fairway hired Corkys pest control to actually do the tenting so I reviewed both of them as terrible!!!
