This San Diego based company also operates in the Sacramento area and the prices for parts are a rip off. This is the website they use in Sacramento — but the invoice I was given is from Garage Door Service:
Calling them turned out to be an expensive mistake. A side cable on my garage door snapped and the door became wedged shut on closing. I called this company thinking it was another company from Elk Grove. This company sent a repairman out quickly. He said the torsion springs needed replacement, and that’s what caused undue pressure on the cable causing it to snap. He said each torsion spring for my two-car garage door was over $ 200 and of course, I needed two of them. I agreed. But the next day I searched for torsion springs online to try to price them and can’t find a single one even approaching $ 100. I was charged $ 124 for 7 feet of cable that goes on the drums. I was also charged $ 100 for ten short stem rollers(rollers that go up and down in the rails). I was told the usual price for the rollers was $ 179 but they were on sale today for $ 100. Bottom line: I would recommend calling someone else.

This place is a total scam. Had them come out to reattach the wires and torsion the springs. By the time the guy got done itemizing the total came out to almost a thousand. I can get a brand new door for that much. It cost me fifty bucks for the call but it was wort it to make them go away. Save your money and stay away.

I struggle with giving the company three stars. The initial work that they did was great. The worker came on time had the door up in three hours and it looks great. It worked great for about three months and then the remote stopped working. When I called they said that there was nothing that they could do. Their was an RF interference problem and it wasn’t covered. If they came out it was another $ 100. They were willing to sell me a new remote but could not be sure that it would solve the problem. Frustrated I turned to YouTube and solved the problem in an hour. The machine they sold us was outdated and unsupported by the manufacturer. You get what you pay for.

They have services in the San Jose area. I needed an emergency garage door repair. They came on time, and fixed the problem. Plus they gave a 2 year warranty to the work. Further, I asked if they could provide me extra information about my door for the future, in case I needed a replacement. They provided very detailed info that I could use if I ever needed to order a new door. They were helpful, friendly, and professional.
