Garcia Hector, DC

Stay away from this guy. My mother went to see Hector Garcia because he was recommended by a friend. Fair enough. Hector Garcia took advantage of my elderly (84 year old) mother by charging her $ 400 for «services» and 3 supplements that together miraculously totaled another $ 100. I know other reputable and experienced chiropractors that have told me that they would not charge more than $ 200 for a consultation.
I only found a place to review Hector Garcia on Unilocal by doing a Google search, as he is no doubt paying Unilocal for his bad reviews to go away. This is really a travesty, because it is clear by the other reviews posted for Mr. Garcia that he overcharges unsuspecting clients. When I searched for Garcia on Unilocal using the two names for his business that he uses, nothing came up, and Unilocal does not make it possible to post a new review on him. I am curious to see how long this review stays up on Unilocal,or if it even posts at all.

I wasted $ 250 on a phone session with Dr. Garcia back in early March 2011. I needed help with my sleeping issues and a really bad case of the flu. His «session» did absolutely nothing to help me. Nothing. Nada. I called his office back to tell him, and they told me I was going through a healing crisis. Yeah right. I didn’t get over the flu, bronchitis and sinusitis for another month. And it’s now five months later and I’m still not sleeping well. Healing crisis… sure…

I went to see Dr. Garcia based on someone else’s glowing report, but I cannot recommend him. He was ½ hour late for my first session and did not apologize. There was never any real connection — it was like he was doing his work at me rather than with me.
I spent the unbelievable sum of $ 350 for a first visit, he did a lot of both on– and off-​the-​body stuff, and I did not feel even an ounce better at the end of the session. I called his wife, the receptionist, a few days later. She had him check on me via his Yuen or Matrix work and said he corrected two things that had interfered with the treatment. Still no relief of the pains for which I went to see him. After the session I met several people who had seen him without experiencing any change in symptoms.
Recently I had a session with another practitioner (at ¼ the price) and got a lot of freedom from very specific restrictions in head, neck, shoulders, and thorax.
