Everything exudes peace, love, beauty and little pleasures of life at Glimpse. Every Ray at Night I have to stop and get a little something (for me or others, after all the joys of being very social is that you have always a friend or two to celebrate a birthday or more together!). I like everything in the store, starting by the façade, you can tele-​transport yourself to a quaint street in Montmartre and waiting for Amelie to pop up and do some shopping of those magical potions together! I like all the scented candles, jewelry, pillows, textiles, unguents, nothing ugly or dissonant here!

Glimpse is a cool little addition to North Park’s art district. Not only does it have an art gallery, it also houses a retail boutique, healing workshops, landscape design business and the owner of Glimpse has an interior design studio in the same building. Please visit

Spring Valley, CA
First visit today for a «Tea and Conversation» Meetup event. Immediately impressed with the shop and all its interesting and useful items. Even more impressed with the emphasis on sustainable, locally-​created products. Lynle, the owner, is very energetic, friendly, and was a great host for the event. I will be back!

I love this place. I stumbled upon it during Ray at Night. There are so many cool little shops tucked away on Ray Street and this one is my favorite. Everything in there looks so beautiful. It even smells great in there (they’ve got soaps and essential oils there which makes everything smell purdy). They have lots of cute things for the home, and even some healing/​reiki type stuff and intuitive readings in the back of the shop. The items there are eclectic and fun, and surprisingly affordable. Also the owner is incredibly nice and helpful. I will go there again for sure!

Sometimes those out-​of-​the way places are worth the drive. Glimpse features jewelry from Afghanistan, eco-​friendly products. quality throws and things and of course the local art on the walls. Since the proprietor is a Interior Designer, lots of things are geared for home use. Lots or fun thing to look at and buy.

Glimpse is a cute, quirky little store that I visited in North Park. It’s not an art gallery, but it’s not quite a ‘home store’ either, it’s somewhere in between. Their business card says, «accessories for designing a harmonious home and life.» Inside this little space were some beautiful glass vases, pillows, throws, jewelry, candles, and the like. The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. I would happily stop by next time I’m in town, for that little je né sais quoi.
