I love this place. They are always nice and courteous greeting you as you walk in. It’s never terribly busy but that could be because I usually come in the morning. They give great cuts and are fast. Reasonable prices. They just moved down two doors down but in the same strip mall. They work great with small ones. I’ve seen difficult squirmers in the chair but they are always patient and do well. I’m very happy to find a barber that consistently does well.

I have had around 8 haircuts here at Happy Barber#2 and they all have been very good. The hair stylists here are mostly asian that decently speak English, so you’re going to have to make sure you tell them what you want so that they don’t misunderstand you. This barber shop is recommended for guys, I’ve never seen a girl get her hair cut here.
The stylist here do a great job for the most part. They specialize in short haircuts rather than styled longer haircuts. They know the modern «now» styling, so that’s not a problem.
I usually get a sort of faux hawk haircut with a #2 on the sides with the v line in the back that’s also boxed off. I also get the point for the side burns.
They really a great job with the low price that they’re asking for. Almost all cuts are $ 11. They also have a senior and military 10% discount.
Overall, I’m definitely always going to tip and come again.

This is a great place to get your cuts. I have been having them cut my hair for quite a few years now and and all of the barbers do equally great cuts for an unbeatable price… you don’t need to go anywhere else…

Okay so I realize I am a 5 star whore on Unilocal but if I could give one company 5 stars this would be it!!! I mean I’ve had expensive hair cuts and had my beard groomed and not go when get closed to satisfied. These guys are amazing, Probably shouldn’t say this on a comment but I would pay 3 times more for the exact same hair cut and trim.
My experience:
two guys there (older guy and young skinny guy with glasses) are the two guys I’ve used. I don’t do much talking but that’s my fault not there’s so I don’t know there names. I would highly recommend either one. ANYWAYS GO HERE FOR A CUT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AND THEY ARE SUPER CHEAP 10 BUCKS A CUT AND 7 FOR A BEARD TRIM!!! Thanks I’ll be back for sure

They cut alright here, but when I got home I ended up having to spend a decent amount of time fixing the line-​up and the fade because it wasn’t as clean as I was expecting/​hoping.

I stand by my old review. except for the statement that all of the barbers do a good job. I’ve had my hair cut by all of them and they all did a fine job except for one gentleman. who apparently has no idea what tapering meant. Had to attempt and clean it up myself at home.
Unfortunately I don’t know his name or how to identify him for you all lol. May the odds be in your favor.

Finding that perfect barber can be stressful and dramatic. After 18 years of cutting my previous barber retired and I was on the daunting search of a barber that understood no head is the same from the other. Thankfully I finally found Happy Barber! Whew, place is awesome and the price is a deal!

Brought my 3 year old here and they did an amazing job! They did exactly what I asked.
Lots of parking.
Shop is pretty spacious.
We waited maybe 3 minutes.
Had 4 people working. Every chair was always full with people waiting as well.
Free bottles of water while you wait.
They also offer military discount. Can’t beat a haircut for $ 9! (Usually $ 10 for a haircut, got $ 1 off discount for military)

Gave me exactly what I asked for. He was meticulous in making sure everything was perfectly even, but still very quick about it. All this without the contrived awkward conversation you get at some other places– exactly what I want in a haircut. This is going to be my new regular place around here. Very pleased.

Had to come here for the first time because Happy Barber 1 was closed on Memorial Day.
This place is a lot bigger, a lot nicer and cleaner than the original. It is a bit more expensive (a dollar more) at $ 10.
At the original, they user put gel on your hair after your cut and charge you a dollar. At HB2, my barber hairsprayed my hair, which was actually nice and he didn’t end up charging me for it.
So basically, Happy Barber 2 is everything you love about the original Happy Barber, but a little better in most aspects.

Place is fast, clean and give excellent haircuts on a great price! Picky about who cuts my hair, but I have no worries here. Almost every other week i have a different barber, but when i get the same one they remember what i ask for everytime. I have become a regular here.

Went for the first time today and I was very pleased. I’ve been to too many hair salons where they just ignore your request and do what’s easiest for them, but not here. They know what they are doing here, very skilled. They are also pretty friendly to everyone who walked in. I will definitely come back.

As a woman, I can say that this is a very friendly kind hearted establishment. However, each time my husband has his hair cut there I find an appalling problem. For example, there are very uneven parts of the haircut, sometimes a chunk of hair standing up in the middle of his scalp, and last time a true dent in the back of his head. Even though the shop is clean and appealing, the haircuts leave a great deal to be desired. Loyal patrons return, however paying a bit more money for a good haircut somewhere else is my advice.

My family of men are loyal customers here. The barbers are fast and precise which is great for those who don’t have a lot of time on their hands but don’t get me wrong, this place can get quite popular if you know what I mean. Be sure to come in early in the morning. This place is a definitely a go to for military style haircuts and prompt service. The price is typically $ 8 or $ 9 for a faded cut.

I’ve been going to them for years! Great value for the price, I go specifically to see Amy and will continue to go to her as long as I live in SD. I am a huge fan of the gel they use as well. Another terrific value!
Just be careful if you decide to go on Sundays because its normally their busiest day (because of the large amount of military that uses their services). With that said, they always move fast so you’re not sitting for more than 30 minutes if there are 5 – 6 people in front of you.

So they dont have a book where you sign in, or like a «take a number» system, but SOMEHOW, they always know whose next. It gets busy in there sometimes too, so it’s pretty impressive how the barbers just kinda keep the queue in their heads.
I used to go to Rollies…
…but we moved farther south, and I got tired of making the trip to Mira Mesa, so thats when I found this place. I’d say I’m a regular for like, the last 10 months or so, and most of the time is a quick, clean, medium reg. So we’re happy.

All I have to say is: I like it. As anal as I am about detail, they do a pretty good job in what they do, although they may be a bit off on the fringes.
Good price for a haircut, as well.
Also, the staff have conversations with their guests, mostly small talk, some about their lives and whatnot. Just a casual conversation as they cut your hair. Good to know that they take part in talking to their guests.
I’m planning to go there to get another haircut.

Ah yes, The younger brother to the first Happy Barber. What can I say. They are the exact same barbers except in a bigger and nicer barbershop.
The barbers in this one and the first are interchangeable and some spend some days at this one and some at the other, You will have to ask them which ones they work on on which days if you want a certain barber.
There is really nothing much I can say, I think you should read my review on the first Happy Barber. Same amazing service and amazing haircuts for cheap prices. You can’t really go wrong.
