Todo es muy bueno pero claro está que lo mejor es pedir dos platillos y compartir son exageradamente grandes las porciones. Todos muy amables y serviciales vale la pena la espera.

Great breakfast place! Come early to avoid a wait. We came at 8am on a Sunday and were seated in 10 minutes. They won’t seat you until your whole party is present. Our party of 4+ a toddler split the bacon, avocado and onion scrambler as well as the brown sugar banana pancake. The scrambler was really excellent but I would have picked a different pancake. There was nothing wrong with the pancake, I am just not a huge banana fan. As other reviewers have stated, the portions are huge so we had more than enough food for the 5 of us! Looking forward to coming back and trying some different pancakes. I want the snickers one next time!

Really really great food. Service and price is like most of San Diego for good food, busy and not cheap. One outstanding feature though, you will have leftovers. Lots of food. Enjoy!

This is one of the first restaurants we went to while we were in San Diego. When we arrived at the Hash House, it was the very start of dinner and it wasn’t quite busy yet. Our waitress said to us,” I guess you’ve heard about our huge portions!” Actually, we hadn’t. When we got our food, it was like«WOW. She wasn’t exaggerating! «The portions were crazy huge, but the food was good though! I really enjoyed the chicken chowder and the biscuit. By the time I got my stuffed burger, I had no more room in my stomach to eat. The food we didn’t eat we took home and ate the next day for lunch. The next time we visit San Diego, I would love to come back to Hash House A Go Go again and try their breakfast items.

Honest, I don’t know what all the fuss is about! Yes, the plates are GINORMOUS and I’m talking enough to feed a family of four big. but is it really worth the 30 minute plus wait? Methinks not. I came here for brunch with a couple of friends and at 930 the wait was already 30 minutes long. Boo. The nice thing is they text you when your table is ready so you can wander around the area, get a nice cup of coffee somewhere and hang out for a bit. The service itself was ok. I felt like we had 4 different servers. We were missing utensils after the food had come out and kept having to flag people down. Also, what’s up with the tiny water glasses??? I felt like I was taking shots of water. The food itself was mediocre. I ordered the corned beef hash. The biscuits were not buttery and delicious. They tasted clunky to me I guess is the best word to describe it. The corned beef hash were huge chunks if corned beef and potatoes and veggies. It was just. ok. Maybe I came on an off day maybe I ordered the wrong thing? Who knowsss. But I probs won’t wait in that lime again.

after my second experience at hash house, I had to up my rating to 5! as always, there was a 35 minute wait which was estimated to the T. we were seated and greeted quickly by our AHMAZING server Ashley. we started with some cocktails including Johnnys hangover cure, some of their specialty mimosas, and the vacation cocktail. they were all tasty but I was sad to learn that they use the low alcohol content liquors which made them all a little too sweet. for meals, we all tried different scrambles or hashes. they were all very very good. the crispy potato accompaniment were good but a bit bland without ketchup. each plate comes with about 3 full potatoes which was crazy. not one of us came even close to finishing our meals. I suggest sharing!

I have been hearing about Hash House for years and was finally able to get myself in that neck of the woods, then wait for a couple of hours before being seated, and then gorging myself on likely the largest hamburger I’ll ever order in my lifetime! I hear that if you share a dish with someone they charge you for it, but I will likely do that the next time I come as there is SOMUCH food! It is no joke that Hash House has epic portions of food. I was slightly overwhelmed and if it wasn’t for the fact that I had my kids beside me, I would have felt about the size of a kid sitting at the table with all these large dishes! I chose the stuffed hamburger with avacado, bacon, and cheese and went with a side of mac & cheese. I would skip out on the mac & cheese next time as the sauce was really runny and it was a somewhat glorified Kraft M&C. The giant burger had great toppings and I could barely eat half of it. The patty wasn’t as flavorful as I would like it to be, so it’s a good thing they have all the amazing toppings on there. The staff were great and we liked the online check-in system they had. We headed out for awhile and did other things in the area while we waited for our table. The wait time wasn’t exactly accurate, but for a place with this much going on, it’s easily overlooked. Most impressive dish at the table, the pancake. I want to see how they flip that. My brother-in-law had a hash and he was super impressed with it and after trying a bit of it, a little part of me wished I would have gotten a has as well. I liked the inside of the restaurant. We sat at the family booth which was really spacious for us all. The music was fun and kept the place energetic. Parking took a bit of time to find as I didn’t see a lot for the restaurant. We parked on the street not too far from the restaurant. I look forward to my next visit which I will plan out a bit more strategically!

Omg be prepared to wait! You can never go wrong with a hangover brunch like this LOL it’s so good and satisfying! They have indoor and outdoor seating. I believe there is only street parking because it is dtsd. I ordered the corned beef hash to share and it was huge! The portions are really big so I would recommend you share everything! Family style it too. It was pretty good. The corned beef wasn’t too dry and the potatoes were so good with it! Everything went so well with together. They have other hash’s which all look pretty good. Definitely a brunch place to try if you’re in the area and haven’t gotten it before.

Had the eggs Benedict with a side of avocado. Portions are HUGE and the presentation is spectacular! If you go here with your woman, share a meal. My only complaint is that the potatoes could have been served much hotter, they were basically room temperature. 2 eggs Benedict, side of avocado, 1 mimosa, 2 coffees. $ 43 + tip.

The last time I visited San Diego, we headed up to Hillcrest to experience a better choice of restaurants than what was available in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. One of the places that popped up was a breakfast spot called Hash House A Go Go. Apparently, it has been featured on The Food Network and The Travel Channel, so it definitely came well recommended. The atmosphere is pretty relaxing, and the staff seemed very accommodating. They have seating indoors for a break from the sun, or outside with fan sprinklers. At least 90% of the menu is under $ 15, so you can try just about anything you like without the fear of spending too much. I ordered The Tractor Driver Combo, which came with two eggs, potatoes with a vanilla waffle. It was a huge waffle! The wife and I ate less than half of it and had to take the rest back. It was flavorful and came with some delicious sugar-free syrup! My wife ordered the two eggs w/bacon and Griddled French Toast dipped in banana cinnamon cream w/pecan maple syrup. It was so sweet and heavy that we had carb coma afterward! They also carry a lunch and dinner menu, so anytime of day is fine for a visit. The food is great and the portions are huge, so if you want to get your fill, you have to stop by.

Quality not quantity pretty much sums up Hash House A Go Go. Everything is purposly large as it supplies the demand for the American go big or go home mentally. Prices are suprisingly reasonably cheap given the amount of food offered, but quality of food is lacking. Finding a decent place with good biscuits and gravy is hard to find in the state of California. I was hoping Hash house would change that perception but unfortunately fell short. At Hash House, they serve up two enormous biscuits and a tons of sausage gravy on top of potato hash. The most important ingredient missing was flavor. Lack of pepper and sausage flavor was mask by the abundance of cream flavor. Do your calories a favor and skip this dish no matter how tempting the pictures look. On a side note, my friend ordered the apple pancakes with the middle having uncooked batter. If you’re going to serve up a pancake the size of a crater, you need to make sure it’s cooked through.

Holy Moly! The dishes are huge! We def overestimated our appetite when we ordered 3 dishes along with drinks for 3 people. I had the HH Hashes — corned beef, red onions and cheese. Their hashes come alongside 2 eggs(don’t your way), potatoes and a large biscuit. Man oh man, it smelled delicious off the hot skillet but I couldn’t even make a dent in my dish! Moral of the story — Sharing is caring!
