Hatikva is an awesome judaica shop. The owners are super friendly and helpful and they have really nice products!

This is a very nice Jewish store with a good selection. The owner, Denise, is very helpful and friendly, and told me the story of the dreidel game. Love this shop!

This is a beautiful shop owned and operated by lovely people. I went in yesterday for the first, looking for nothing in particular, but found a beautiful mezuzah & scroll and Shabbat candlesticks that I loved, bought and am very much looking forward to using. In looking around, I had really nice conversations with both Denise and her husband, whose name escapes me at the moment, but I didn’t want to let that stop me from writing this review right now. They are both clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about Hatikva. Their caring shows and I felt very welcomed there. It will be my pleasure to visit again as well as recommend them to family and friends.

WOW! What a wonderful place. They have Beautiful Mezuzahs. All there merchandise is wonderful. The customer service is Outstanding! ! I had a wonderful experience and plan to shop there again.

This is a very nice shop in an industrial area near I-​15, close to the pyramid just off Miramar road; it is well worth finding. Denise Schwartz, the owner, assisted me in a very informative and helpful manner; it is a pleasure doing business at this shop. I was impressed with the variety, uniqueness and excellent quality of items offered; many are truly works of art. If you are searching for a special gift, this is the place to shop. Some items are moderately priced to expensive, however, their uniqueness and quality is worth the price be it for a wedding gift or other special occasion. The shop has many beautiful items that will be deeply appreciated by the recipient of a gift or that will become treasured family items for yourself. I purchased a beautiful mezuzah and scroll and a Book of Psalms as a gift for a gravely ill family member. Denise recommended the Book of Psalms which I never would have thought of. In addition, Denise directed me to their website for instructions on how to mount the mezuzah in a memorable manner. I was very impressed with her kindness and her taking the time to help me. I had a high quality shopping experience at Hatikva and received so much more in my personalized interaction with Denise than just making a gift purchase. In addition, my items were placed in very nice gift bags with tissue paper ready to gift. The selection of items is wonderful.

My wife and I had been meaning to check out Hatikva for some time now, and I am incredibly happy that we did today. Denise was very helpful and eager to educate myself and my wife on Judaism. I am someone who is getting in touch with my family’s Jewish roots and feel like I can stop by anytime and get answers to any questions I might have. I very much appreciated Denise’s genuine happiness in sharing the history and reasoning behind the customs of the Jewish religion. This is not just a store of products. Everything has a meaningful history to it and it is a real pleasure to have someone like Denise available to share that knowledge. Denise recommended that I start reading The Five Books of Moses. I gladly purchased it and the moment I got home I started reading it. Thank you!

I went there to buy a little Tehillim book (psalms) and the owner, Denise, came to help me right away. She showed me all of the wonderful things the have in the store. I bought the book plus an amazing kiddush cup! The prices were really inexpensive and the variety was incredible! The warm, and welcoming owners really made my day, I would definitely come back! (And I drove about 40 min there)

The Owners of this store are wonderful. They are such a personable family and very knowledgeable. I was looking for a Judaic piece of jewelry and they had a great selection. You can find everything and anything for your Judaic needs. Next gift I need I will be back.

This is an amazing store, with a great husband and wife team that runs the place. There is nothing more you could want, everything in this store is a piece of artwork. Usually literally. I keep coming back here any time I have a little free time and want to look around. The first time it is a little hard to find, but do not give up, once you arrive it is worth it.

I recently bought the Ten Commandment Tallit Clips online. First of all, they are absolutely exquisite, but so was the customer service! Although out of stock, Denise called Israel to arrange to get them in. Knowing my time constraints, she placed the order before even getting a payment from me to avoid delays with the time difference. She did the same with expedited shipping, just to make sure we had them. Companies NEVER do this! She was so genuine in her desire for our son’s Bar Mitzvah to be nice — how refreshing! I can’t recommend them enough. Beautiful items, absolutely competitive pricing, and the best customer service I have had in a long time.

This is your one stop shop for anything Judaica related in San Diego! I had the pleasure of having Denise help us with our wedding this past July and she did a spectacular job on our wedding invitations/​kippahs/​ketubah. I had a very pleasant experience buying my wife a tallit at hatikva. Denise helped me find the perfect tallit for my wife and we had a very pleasant talk about Judaica and the history of her store. The smell of baking was also very nice as she bakes her challah for Shabbat at the store! Thank you Denise.

Really nice place for all your Judaica needs. Siddurs, hand washing cups, mezzuzah’s, children’s books, yarmulkes… you name it, they have it. A little tough to find maybe, but well worth it!

Hatikvah has an amazing range of products and jewellery and Denise is fabulous at assisting in choosing just the right gift for whatever the occasion be it a Friday night dinner or bar mitzva, wedding etc etc there is always something special. Her jewellery is also so beautiful and my kids love the books and toys.

Beautiful jewelry is available and as its so well priced, makes perfect Bat Mitzvah gifts. But the greatest surprise was how fantastic the service is. Denise goes above and beyond to make sure you find what you want, at the correct price. Her smile and contagious good spirit make you want to stay longer and chat! Hatikvah is a family business and you feel that you are part of the family the minute you walk into the showroom.
