This positive reinforcement-​based dog training class was helpful in teaching my dog the basics, such as sit, stay, paying attention to me, coming when called, walking calmly on a leash, and relaxing/​staying calm. My dog already knew how to do a few of these things, but this class really solidified those skills.
Our trainer, Margaret, gave us great tips and provided insight for the pet parents as to how we could better support/​train our 4 legged, furry children. She was very kind and did a wonderful job embracing/​working with the different skill levels and personalities of each dog in the class.
Though this was only a 5 week class, I felt like we really took a lot away from it. I looked forward to going every week and can’t wait for the next set of training classes.
