I live in the neighborhood, just got paid, took a 50 and walked to this business for the first time. Was a bit surprised that the customer has to serve themself, but ok, went through the line as directed, got to the front, gave up my 50 and was told no, «the owner says we can’t take anything bigger than twenty dollars». He says«you can go to 7 – 11 and get change». Now, lemme get this right, I do all the labor for this business to serve myself, I am embarrassed in the store when they refuse legal tender, and then they want me, the paying customer, to do more labor to get change? This is NOT customer service. I vote with my dollars, there are plenty of like businesses with yummy products, I go where I am treated like a PAYINGCUSTOMER. I vote with my dollars, I vote no. Don’t go there.

I’m pretty picky about sweets, especially when it comes to frozen yogurt. There are so many places I won’t even go because their fro yo has a fake taste. I was hesitant but hopeful when I took my daughter here on Friday, May 27th. What I liked: 1. The customer service was very pleasant and helpful 2. The frozen yogurt flavors were very tasty. I got the chocolate and peanut butter with random toppings. I really enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed hers, too(but I don’t remember what she got). 3. The yogurt was filling. Have you ever had yogurt thinking it would be the snack that would fill you up a little but it didn’t? This is not that kind of yogurt. 4. It’s right down the street and we can walk there! I’m looking forward to some fro yo/library trips over the summer. What could easily be improved(and should): 1. There were no posted prices. I don’t like to ask how much things are going to cost. Since this is a serve yourself kind of place, it seems super important to me to inform customers what they will be paying per ounce. 2. The floor was sticky near the yogurt machines.

Pricing is higher than YLand, but there isn’t one nearby, sooo. This place has good weekly deals, great hours, parking, friendly staff. Their flavors and toppings are excellent.

If you’re going to offer a check-in offer, then actually honor the check-in offer or take it down immediately. I was told it was expired weeks ago. Then take it down!

This is our new favorite place to get fro yo! It reminds us of one of our favorite small-town ice cream shops back home. It’s always clean and well stocked. The yogurt tastes amazing(better than YogurtLand, in my opinion) and it’s very family-oriented. The workers are high schoolers and they’re very friendly! We will definitely be back!(Probably once a week. :))

Came after lunch one day with my party of 4. The place was empty of customers. The man behind the counter greeted us but never offered sample cups. After checking out the flavors, I requested sample cups and he gave me 2! 2 cups for 4 people?! Really?! The flavors were ok, but there was nothing spectacular about them. I would rather driver further to Yogurtland.

Awesome yogurt! Definitely more like a soft serve! Large selection of toppings and great flavors of yogurt! My husband doesn’t even like frozen yogurt and he loved this place! Check them out!

Clean, nice selection… assuming it is owned by the church. Yogurt was 2x the cost of where I usually go. No price per ounce listed…53 cents per ounce… that’s crazy! Almost 6.00 dollars to try 3 flavors without toppings… I had always thought of opening a yogurt place in this area, it was needed… the church will support it during church services, but most kids or parents can’t afford it regularly at these prices. Great idea though!

I absolutely love Heavenly Yogurt. Great flavors, great prices, and even a military discount. We don’t live in Tierrasanta, but we go there frequently. We have a Yogurtland in our neighborhood, but I would much rather visit Heavenly Yogurt. They have better flavors and a better environment. The place itself is always clean, and very welcoming. The staff is super friendly and the owners are great. Heavenly is a great addition to the Tierrasanta neighborhood!

Love having a desert option right in Tierrasanta. 2 size selections, 10 yogurt choices(changes often), and about 20 topping choices. They also sell by the quart and often have some yogurt cookie sandwiches. Very clean. Inside seating along with a few outside tables. For awhile they advertised $ 5 Fridays, but I didn’t see that on my most recent visit.

Really high quality yogurt, and so many topping options! I love the ‘do it yourself’ yogurt shops(in fact, I’ve walked out of yogurt shops before because they put the toppings on for you — no way!). The staff is always very friendly and the owners are local. Support local business!

Been here a few times now and I have enjoyed every flavor! Cups are big but thats great if you have a kid who likes to stack the toppings on so they won’t fall off the side. Just moderate what your kid adds on otherwise you could be looking at a big bill but with a place called heavenly yogurt where the original owners were deacons of NewBreak church makes you feel a bit better regardless. Plus if you attend NewBreak on your second visit you even get a free yogurt. Nice store to partner with the church like that. I have been to other yogurt stores as many have and truly enjoy this one. Great flavor selection and toppings, good size cups and $ 5 Fridays are a great deal! Highly recommend if you’re going to try them out go in on a Friday to get a great deal and see how many people come out for this place. Well worth the crowd if there is one when you come in. The chocolate coconut has been my go to flavor that last couple of times with the salted caramel. Yum!

I wanted to grab some frozen yogurt to go with my dinner on the way home and I noticed this place that opened right next to Dominos. Heavenly Yogurt is a new self serve yogurt place that opened up in a strip mall right off Tierrasanta blvd. They had six machines offering over ten different flavors of frozen yogurt. The employees seemed a bit weird about asking for sample cups, upon asking for a sample they looked at me kinda weird and then handed me one little cup. Now, I know everyone who visits a new yogurt place likes to take at least one or two samples of stuff before going all in and grabbing a large cup full. So after throwing the used cup away, I asked for another and again they gave me a weird look like why I was attempting to ask for another one. Oh well, they finally gave in and handed me a new one anyways. They had two sizes of cups here which were large and super crazy unbelievable large. I’ve noticed yogurt places are really starting to increase their cup size, I suppose they figure they will sell more yogurt when giving people the ability to hold more in a «small» sized cup. I found their cake batter and peanut butter to great taste. The yogurt base its self was really good, creamy texture but not runny. It didn’t taste like they added a huge bag of sugar to the mix either, great balance of sweetness. I really liked the peanut butter taste to it, I wish it was a tad bit more stronger in the flavor department. They also have a large selection of dry and cold toppings up front for your yogurt. They have all the usual candies, fruits, nuts, sauces and even some breakfast cereals. The place of course is pay by weight and even though I don’t recall the exact price per ounce, it wasn’t too expensive in my opinion. They also had a fridge next to the door with pre-packed quarts of their flavors to take to go. I don’t know how yogurt holds up in the freezer that long, to me it would seem like the texture would really change when reaches freezing temperature. Right underneath the quarts they also sell cookie sandwiches with yogurt between them. They had a variety of different cookies parried with different flavors. Even though this place was weird about samples, the yogurt tasted pretty decent. Heavenly Yogurt seems to be doing things right as far as their yogurt goes. There isn’t too much competition around Tierrasanta, so hopefully they end up doing well in this area.
