Help Mental Health and Counseling Service

Very sweet and knowledgeable. Can talk to you about anything /​you feel comfortable bringing up anything. Overall, is very comforting to be around. I was referred to go to Dr. Conway because at the time I needed help with a divorce I was going through. Now that I’m not in San Diego I don’t get to talk to Dr Conway much but she allows me to contact her when I need to talk through an issue in my life. 100% changed and attribute it all to Dr. Conway.

I’ve been with Dr Annette Conway over the past several years. In a few words, she is empathetic and knowledgeable. More about me. Life is going great. Great life and great career in business, but I find that time management and trying to fit in too much into an already over hectic schedule can be anxiety provoking, thus cause depression.
In comes Dr. Conway. She has been terrific in helping me get through my own mental laundry and setting goals. What I love about Annette is that she’s flexible. It’s not just about weight loss or «therapy» per se, it’s really what is helpful to you. She is non judgmental while helping to direct you to your own conclusions and goals. I enjoy his encouragement and feedback, but at the end of the day, decisions are my own to make.
Obviously finding counseling is a very personal decision and usually «word of mouth». But if you are looking for someone who cares and can assist with self improvement, I highly recommend Dr. Conway!

I have been seeing Dr. Conway for over 4 years and worked with her in her Hillcrest office near downtown. She is a caring, non-​judgmental, knowledgeable and a culturally sensitive therapist. She has a lot of experience working with patients from different backgrounds especially the LGBT community. She also has great knowledge in treating patients with different mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety and depression. I know from speaking with many people in my network that Dr. Conway is highly respected and has a lot of experience in her field.

Moe Curly and Larry could have done a better job. I called to make an appointment making sure they understood my insurance. Alan called back right away (why can’t they spend $ 10 a hour for a receptionist?). Explained my situation and goofy said he didn’t take my insurance but Annette Conway did. He said he’d pass along my number.
A WEEK later she calls back. We schedule an appoinment for a week later. How many weeks are we at now?
When I get there I again ask her about my insurance. Why no she doesn’t take my insurance. She flips her hair like a silly blonde explaining that yes she should have checked. All the while she’s SMILING at me like oh I’m such a silly girl!
This wasn’t funny or amusing — you could do better by talking to someone waiting for the bus to pick them up. Run the other direction immediately!
