My first time here today and I saw Melanie:) What a great person inside and out! My hair was so long and needed to be cut bad. I popped in last minute and she washed, cut and styled it and it turned out awesome! I soooo recommend this cute place, it’s homey and comfortable, and the atmosphere you couldn’t beat. Can’t wait to go back!

Erica is simply amazing. She is a hair therapist and cut/​color artist. Her concern goes way beyond how amazing she makes your hair look, but also into how healthy your hair is. She takes time to explain any hair care and product tips to improve your look and hair health without being condescending or pushy. She is easy to talk to (which is important when you take the time for a cut and color) and super down to earth. Parking is easy and the salon is chic yet easy to relax in… Oh yes and her scalp massage is to die for! I won’t be cheating on her anytime soon with any other hair stylist!

Go to Mel! It is so hard to find a good, consistent colorist these days — but boy am I glad I found Mel! A very experienced and well-​trained Aveda stylist who recently joined the Hue Salon team. Helped me out of a bad hair situation with breakage from highlights and lowlights. Now my hair is healthy, looks great! Consistency is key with blond highlights — I won’t go to anyone else again after finding Mel!

All right women, you know how important your hair is to you. I’d follow my stylist Vita Provenzano anywhere, and I have for the last 11 years. I’m so excited that she’s back in Point Loma/​OB at the new Hue Salon. She’s a perfectionist, on both cut and color, and I’ve always left with amazing cuts and color. If you are looking for a new style, Vita is your girl, and Hue Salon is the PLACE!

Hue is such a rad new spot with amazing stylists! Melanie Lucia has been cutting/​styling my hair for years, I’m so excited she’s back in Point Loma!!! There’s a ton of parking everywhere and the salon is beautiful and spotless!!! Now that you know about the Salon, I HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT MELANIE!!! Actually, I’m going to copy/​paste a text message I sent to her recently after a trim– HEY GURL!!! Thank you for the best haircut ever!!! Someone I didn’t know actually yelled at me from across the street today and said «you’re hair is SMOKIN»!!! That trim yesterday livened up an already rockin cut! I freakin luv you!!! I’ll get a photo up soon! You need to see this HAIR!!!
