Why would someone even mention that the other entertainers«also play at gay bars»? Who says this kind of thing? Obviously someone who is totally politically incorrect. As for my experience, do like Wendie & Steve but had issue when shower leaking Beto made appointment and he never came. No one ever called to cancel, nothing. And anyone can go to the restaurant(not just a bar) that is downstairs. You act like it’s for the tenants only. As for the rooftop, you need some place to escape from the mostly unfriendly tenants who are old and act like they own the place themselves. They don’t hold the door or elevator open for anyone. As for the elevators!!! They are slow, slower and slowest and break down all the time. Been stuck in there myself. As for the laundry room — if you could call it that. The machines are ancient, they do not clean your clothes and they are always out of order. Not to mention no refund when the machines take your money and don’t work, which is all the time. There is not enough parking for even half the people in the building and parking outside costs $ 5.00 for every 8 hours, so $ 10.00 a day. That’s an extra $ 300 a month. And the parking authority knows this so they monitor the metered spaces avidly. The reason so many people rent here? It’s because they allow every breed of dog with only a $ 500 security deposit and the park is right across the street so you can take your dog to do their duty across the street. The units are small(have to stand to the side of your oven when opening door) everything is old(the cabinets and doors have been painted so many times they either don’t stay closed or they stick all the time). People move in and out of here constantly because they offer the units at a lower rate and then jack them up at the end of the lease. Look around you can do better for the price.

I have lived on and off in Imperial Towers for over 10 years and LOVEIT! The space is large, we can use our amazing rooftop that has the same views as Mr A’s, there is a gym, and a party room. Beto is always there to help repair things, Becky, Steve and Wendy are the managers who respond when you need something done, and the best part about living here is we have access to the bar downstairs! Rick Lyon plays there twice per week, and other nights there are entertainers that also play at gay bars and they bring in their own crowd. Mix it up, who doesn’t love diversity!!! Oh and there is me who throws a lot of the roof top parties. So if you want to live in a fun building… this is it. There is always a wait list so get on it.
