I have been going to Jennifer for my nails for almost 20 years now! Seriously since I was in middle school! She is the absolute best at nails and Tracy does the best pedicure that I have ever had. Their prices are lower than other salons as well. I never have broken nails and my pedicure stays for a least 2 months with barely chipping. Not to mention that Jennifer and Tracy are two of the sweetest people!

I have been doing my eyebrows and occasionally also my hair with Ha for 10 years. Shes really good and i highly recomend her! I even get compliments after I’ve had my eye brows cleaned up by her. Also i just had Tracy fix a bad gel job i had done at another salon. She did really good and actually told me quite bit about gel i didnt know before. Love these ladies they do an excellent job, are affordable and make you feel really at home and comfortable. I now literally only go here for nails and wax.

Not impressed. I purchased shampoo and conditioner, tried to return and they refused. No return policy mentioned, posted or on receipt. Not the kind of customer service I am looking for especially since there are so many beauty supply stores that accept returns when customers are not satisfied.

I love going to see Tracy to get my toes done every week, she is the absolute best. I really enjoy going to see her at this new location as well, the new chairs are great for pedicures! Beyond the fact that her hands are sent from heaven and the massage scrub makes you forget all your problems, she is so sweet and caring and takes time to make you feel like a true appreciated customer/​client. She and her team are truly talented and I love going to see them at Indulgences Salon on Newport.

Jennifer is THE BEST in OB! I have been coming to her for over 13 years. I have pink/​white acrylics. I never have had problems with my nails lifting. If I have broken a nail Jennifer is ALWAYS willing to fit me in to fix the nail! I do not know anyone who has valid complaints about Jennifer. I refer people to her all the time. And will continue to do so. Jennifer’s customer service and expertise is appreciated. I wish more people had her work ethic!
As for the negative comments that have been made about Jennifer, they are laughable. They are childish and immature. Very sad people feel a need to lash out in that manner.
I WILL NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE BUT JENNIFER! She is the best and her work proves it!!!

Yay!!! I have found Jennifer, Tracy, and Ha! They used to work at B’s, but now work out if this salon!
Jennifer is truly an artist when it comes to acrylics. Perfect every time, and she pays close attention to detail.
Tracy gives the best pedicures. I’m totally cereal… the…best…pedicures…period! My tootsies will refuse to see anyone but her (hey they are spoiled, what can I say?)
Ha is great and will get your hair trimmed to the T! (Much more affordable than other salons as well)
The girls are always smiling and will give you exactly what you want! Love that they are still in OB! (And right across from my favorite bar, Pac Shores ;)

I have known Marie for nearly 9 years and she has become a good friend of mine. One of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Now she cuts my hair too and she is very good at it. Give her a try. You won’t regret it.

I am visiting Ocean Beach for Spring Break and really needed to get a haircut. Marie was incredible. On top of the fact that she is extremely kind and attentive, she really listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me a lot of advice without ever pushing product onto me. The end result was an amazing cut and a really reasonable price. I really recommend her. I am always nervous about getting my hair done because I’ve had a lot of horrible experiences, but this one was excellent! Marie is awesome.

I have been a client of Marie Thome and Indulgence Salon since I was in college, more than 30 years! I have counted on Marie’s skills and creativity to keep me looking good and current with styles all this time and she has never let me down. She is an exceptional colorist. i get tremendous compliments on my hair all the time.
i love Marie and Indulgence and so will you. Pricing is extremely fair.

Extremely poor business practices!
I bought a bottle of $ 45 conditioner from the store only to bring it home and find out it was watered down and separated. When I brought it back to return it, they refused to give me a refund. The sales clerk was very helpful calling the owner to ask for his permission but the owner still refused to refund my money for the faulty product.
The owner’s wife, who was doing someone’s hair at the time, confirmed with her husband that the conditioner was in fact faulty and still, they did not give me my money back. I informed the apologetic sales clerk that I would definitely be spreading the word of their poor business practices.
I warn everyone, DO NOT GO to this store!

Have been going to Indulgence Salon ever since Alison Contreras arrived there (roughly since 2008 or 2009). She does amazing hair cuts & is great with hair color. She also provides a great head massage when she shampoos you. I always feel relaxed and pampered when I see Alison. She takes the time to listen to you, to what you are asking for, and she takes great care of you. Thanks Alison.

I have been going to owner Marie Thome for my hair care for over 20 years. She gives me a fabulous cut and color about every 4 – 6 weeks… and I come out feeling great! Not only is she skilled as a hair stylist, but she is a wonderful, warm person. I love her ‘Tell Me Something Positive’ sign on her station… it puts a smile on my face and in my heart before she even picks up the scissors.
