I came to Industry Showroom to do a hair production. From the very start Glenn was amazing to work with. He Always got right back to me and was extremely friendly. The space was perfect for videography and photography work. Just got back all of the footage and I am so happy with the lighting from the place and how great it looks on film/pictures. I will definitely be using the space again!

I’ve been dying to go here for months ever since I took a quick peek at their mini dresses. Finally I was able make it down today. Met Rex, fantastic guy. So friendly and helpful. The mix of clothes is unique, daring and irresistible all at once. Can’t wait to go back.

Here is the perfect opportunity to stray from the herd. While they plod(or stampede) along the well worn path toward Target or Walmart, you can blaze your own trail(at your own pace) into the Gaslamp Quarter for some fresh non-conformist fashions at this local hidden treasure. From a flyer I found in the store…“Industry Showroom is a unique small business incubator space with a common area retail floor, art gallery, yoga studio, event facility, a photo studio and private offices. It’s a new paradigm in collaborative spaces, a capitalist commune that allows small businesses to launch, grow, and flourish in a vibrant community environment for a fraction of the normal start-up costs.“ I couldn’t resist talking with the guy who came up with the concept for this place. After being trashed by a previous tenant, the building sat vacant for more than a year. A renovation was designed to «breathe life into an otherwise dead building» and«provide an inexpensive creative environment for small businesses». It worked. Current(retail and office) tenants include Atomic Laser Lab, Consuul Clothing, BritBoy Fashions, Popular Naughty, Area 6, Melt Boutique, Nail Bar & Lash Studio, DCompress Downtown, Urban Yogi, and So Diego Tours. The icing on the cake is the Sudden Art Gallery with edgy original exhibits that are refreshed monthly. In addition to the regular inhabitants, Bohemians visit regularly… on the third Saturday of each month, floor space is cleared to make way for the«Bohemian Market» where dozens of artisans hawk their own personal fashions, art, jewelry, trinkets, and handmade wonders, It’s the perfect opportunity to feed local artists and shop«Indie»…you have nothing to lose because it’s FREE!

Industry Showroom is the best, most amazing, wonderfulest place in San Diego! The shopping’s better than anywhere, the local art has a huge amount of kick-assness, the yoga makes you all bendy and the massage studio is rumored to have magical elves working there that melt away your pain! If you haven’t been there, ya gotta go!

This is a funny and eclectic place. There are several businesses in one building. Almost like a mini-mall downtown. Rex, the location owner, is sharp witted and always has a good story. You will find a mix of art, fashion, flowers, and beauty businesses here. It is geared towards women for sure. If you are in the area stop in and see what is on display that week. It changes.
