HEIDI FAITH IS ANAZING!!! I am a hair stylist by trade and have been for over a decade. I am always in pain from standing all day.
I was recommended to Heidi from a good friend of mine and man oh man am I glad I took her recommendation! Heidi had me feeling like a new lady after she was done working her magic.
The place is clean and relaxing and the staff is all very professional and nice. I knew I was in good hands from the second I walked in and was greeted by Heidi.

All my friends and I come here now – none of us have ever had a bad massage. The place is clean, the staff is nice and despite being in an old building with thin walls, they keep it all very quiet so you aren’t disturbed by other people walking around. My only complaint is that they close so early on Sundays :(

Yesterday was my first and will be my last time receiving a massage at this establishment. I just moved to CA from CO and have yet to find a massage therapist, so I decided to try this place after I saw it while driving by. I had a good 1 hour massage from Valerie. It wasn’t the absolute best massage I ever had, but far from the worst. It was good enough for me to decide to book a 1.5 hour session for tomorrow. Just a few minutes ago I received a call from Mark, perhaps he’s the owner? He mentioned that I did not leave a tip, which is true and he then told me that the therapists WILL NOT work with anyone who does not tip. What is wrong with this crazy culture today — tipping is out of control! The massages are $ 60/​hour. I believe $ 1/​minute is pretty much the national standard average that a massage therapist charges. Tipping is far from being customary. I felt that for me, as the customer, $ 60 is very fair and a good chunk of money. I think this is terrible business practice and I cancelled my appointment for tomorrow and will never recommend Inner Balance to anyone. In all fairness, I must say that there are two people getting the shaft here… the customer/​client and the therapist too (even though she’s the one having the issue with it, I’ll still defend her since Inner Balance is obviously taking too much a cut — perhaps she should take her clients into a private practice and avoid paying out to an agency). This was my first time at Inner Balance Center and I’ve requested Christine per my sister’s suggestion. I was sooo happy with my massage, THANKS Christine B :) I’ll definitely be regular here and luckily their prices are affordable.

I am very disappointed. I have been going here for years and always had very good experience here. However, today I went in and my masseuse was really not very good at all. I specified the areas I was having pain in and she barely worked on them. Not only that but during the massage I asked for more pressure and she did not a change a thing. I feel more pain now than when I went in. Very frustrated that I just spent $ 65 on this experience.

I found Inner Balance center on Unilocal while planning my best friend’s bachelorette weekend. I messaged several (maybe 12?) day spas in and around Pacific Beach. Inner Balance Center was the only day spa that could accommodate a large group of 14. I got in contact with Cassie through Unilocal a few months in advance to ensure that they would have enough massage therapists and rooms available for our large party.
Working with Cassie through Unilocal messaging was a convenient and easy way of organizing the day. She was so helpful and accommodating for our large group. (THANK YOU CASSIE!) I was told that we could get our hour long massages for $ 50 each if we booked a minimum of 10. Sure enough we booked 12 massages and 2 facials. We were also given first time client discounts for the facials which was very much appreciated.
They had a separate waiting room set up for our party. Actually, it was a spare massage room. It was perfect considering that there were plenty of loud and tipsy girls that probably would have deterred from the relaxation process in the main massage area. They allowed for us to bring in drinks and snacks. We brought champagne, fruit and juice. If you decide to do this, keep in mind that you’ll need to provide your own cups! Having a separate room for our party made the wait for our massages fun and enjoyable.
They split up our group into two sessions; 6 massages and 1 facial in the first hour and then the remaining 6 massages and facial for the second hour. Everyone was really happy with their massage therapists. Like, REALLY happy! Most of us noted that we fell asleep at one point. (Sorry for the snoring!) We all had a pretty wild and stressful time the day before, so the massages really helped us rejuvenate and prepare for night 2. The only complaints that I heard included that the rooms and beds were pretty cold. Some of the rooms had fans going which only made it colder. My room, in particular, was really bright from the window and I could hear conversation from the main lobby. I wish that it had been a more relaxed (warmer, darker, quieter) environment. Another complaint was that the «express facial» wasn’t that great. Another girl got the «signature facial» and she was blown away by the experience. We concluded that the person who got the express facial would have been happier had she booked a longer appointment so we can’t really blame the esthetician on that one.
The location itself has several massage rooms. It seems to be an old office building or something like that. Some rooms are in a separate building from the main office.
Overall we loved our services. Inner Balance Center really came through by providing great prices, amazing massage therapists and the flexibility to work with our group and meet our needs. I can only give it a ⁴⁄₅ stars because some of the elements that create a calming environment were missing from the massage rooms. I would still recommend this location though! If you have a big party (hey-​o bachelorettes!) definitely book your massages here. It’s so close to the beach that you can walk there and continue relaxing!

I appreciate the great reception from the front desk people. Prices are reasonable for a quality massage, worthy of the surrounding parking annoyance– park on the street or pay across at the paint store across the street for a nominal fee. The therapists are fantastic and I always look forward to my next visit.

I’ve been coming here for years and I’m still loving it. I get really sore shoulders and have TMJ. The therapists here are excellent and are always to address these issues very well. I always leave relaxed. specifically I wanted to update my review to recommend some deep tissue therapists. So, if you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, I recommend Christine, Christina, and Maria. And if you’re looking for an exceptionally strong deep tissue masseuse, I recommend Lisa. These therapists are amazing. They really know how to work out those kinks and relieve pain. Have a good massage!

I just had my first manicure and pedicure with Lyndsi for the first time yesterday. She is an artist! My nails and toes have never looked so good. Her precision to detail truly shows in both treatments. She makes it a point to make sure you are relaxed as possible. I honestly had a hard time getting up after she was done. Between the cozy seating, heat wrap and the oils she used i was instantly in pure zen mode. Later in the afternoon I actually bought a new ring just so I could show off her work. Just moved here and so happy I found her! Do not waste your time looking around for anyone else. She is the ONE to go to.

I always see Lyndsi for my gel manicures and she does an incredible and professional job. Her manicures will last for a good 3 weeks. I loved my red and silver for New years and the robins egg color with the added sparkles is perfect for Easter. I’ve been seeing Lyndsi for 2 years and won’t go anywhere else.

Oh my goodness, this place is fantastic! My husband and I just finished a couples massage here for our anniversary with Lucy and Valerie, and we were more than satisfied! The environment was very relaxing, and the MTs did a great job. Perfect pressure, and SO relaxing!

I got a massage today from Christine B who is amazing. She asks you beforehand what you want her to focus on and applies appropriate pressure. She is very friendly and eases the tension out of all of your body. This was the best massage I have ever had and Christine B is amazing! I highly recommend her. Very affordable, hidden gem

I was lucky enough to get a last minute appointment with Elizabeth. It was my first trip to this place and I’ll definitely be back. I walked through the door in a ton of pain and after working 16 hours the night before. It hurt to walk, raise my arms or turn my head. Elizabeth can’t be old enough to have done this for many many years, but she’s a master of her craft for sure. She paid close attention to my body’s reaction to pressure and I never had to ask her to give more or less, she just seemed to know. Walked out painless and happy! I’ll be back for sure!!!

I went into inner balance today for a 90 minute full body massage and came out feeling like a new man. Christine B. started my massage with medium pressure which would have been plenty but about 5 mintues into it asked how i was feeling. I told her it was good but i could take more if she could. And thats when it got real. She payed attention to my body as to not overdo it and applied an amazing amount of pressure it all of my trouble areas. She has a very strong, positive energy about her and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great massage experience. Clean and friendly facility. Relaxing environment. Easy location. Great rates. Cant ask for more.

The massage therapists are Inner Balance are very good. The prices are very reasonable and the location is convenient. My favorite massage therapist is Lucy. She is simply amazing. If you want a great massage at a good price, I strongly recommend you check out Inner Balance and ask for Lucy!

Been back a couple more times and never had a bad massage here. I will say that there are a couple therapists who can be a bit rough for me, but most people like that deep tissue work. I have found that I just have to speak up and say something. But, I stand by my initial review that this place is consistently good and the best deal in town for a god massage by a skilled therapist.

This review is about Lyndsi, the nail tech at Inner Balance. Lyndsi is the most conscientious nail tech I’ve ever encountered. She is so thoughtful about her work, and it really shows.
She really takes the time to make sure you’re getting the manicure /​pedicure that you want. She asks how long you want your nails before trimming them and asks you to check them when she’s done to make sure you like the length. She asks how you want them shaped before filing them. And when she’s done with the whole mani /​pedi, she asks you to check them again and make sure you’re happy with all of her work before you leave. Plus she guarantees her work for one week (even if you just chip the polish yourself). Lyndsi delivers really fantastic customer service. I can’t imagine going to anyone else.
My style is pretty simple so I usually just get a natural color on my fingers and a French pedi. Even with something that basic, Lyndsi still dials in to your preferences. She always asks how thick I want the white part of the French, and how I want it shaped (curved, or more straight across). I am always in awe of her ability to so deftly swipe on the polish and make it look as perfect as if it were stenciled on — but she does it all by hand.
I loved her patio at the Hidden Spa a bit more than the new digs at Inner Balance, but her service is absolutely unparalleled — it’s worth the venue change.

Get your nails did by Lyndsi! You’ll never go back to the sweatshop nail salons again! Relax in her lazy boy while she pampers you 101 plus she does amazing nail art! Spa pedis include paraffin or scrub. She always goes that extra mile to make your tootsies smile :)

Was on vacation in San Diego and had sore muscles. Sore from travel and sore from running and laying around. Found this place online. Easy convenient location in Pacific Beach. Called and got an appointment right away.
Easy to street park. Place was clean and had a nice warm greeting from reception.
The price was right! First time is 50 $ and after that is 55 $. I wanted a 90 minute so they took 5 $ off of that 83 $ price.
Massage was awesome. Pretty quiet room. Warm, nice music and nice aroma. Amazing therapist– her name is Cinthya. I got her card so I could recommend her! Looking forward to going back to see her. She was great.
Left a nice tip and went on my way… I wish I could go there now!
