I dropped off two pieces this week and was really impressed. Jonathan, the owner, helped me and I could tell he truly enjoys his job, art, and is in it for the craft vs the money. I was referred by a girl from my oil painting class that he knew. Jonathan had a good eye to recommend a frame I didn’t at first consider but after seeing it it looked great. I still need to pick up my pieces but I’m confident they will turn out great! Just note the address is 4390 Moreno. Not what Unilocal and google has listed.

This is, bar none, the best framing shop in San Diego. My first exposure to Jag was through my employer, when my boss had me frame a magazine article about our shop. I was so impressed by the quality of the work that I came back and had 3 of my own pieces framed. I was helped by Jonathan, who is extremely knowledgeable and very willing to take his time with you and explain all of the nuances of materials and color options. Everything turned out better than I expected. Jag also has the best pricing in town.

I first went to Jag Art about two years ago to have a print and a couple of posters framed. I have since returned and I’ll keep going back to them any time I need something framed. Jonathan Gal, the owner, is always extremely helpful and professional. He’ll take the time to spitball ideas with you, show you what he has in stock, and order what isn’t in stock. He has a great eye for detail, so whether you’re looking for something elaborate or something very simple, he’s able to see things through the eyes of his customer and help them find a solution that they’ll be incredibly happy with. I highly recommend Jag.
