After postponing any type of surgery on my back for more than 10 years and trying every treatment possible, I went to see Dr. KAMSHAD Raiszadeh at the San Diego Spine Institute.
After very thorough evaluation and reviewing all of my xrays and MRI, I made the decision to proceed with surgery. He had helped my sister a few years previous. There are never guarantees with a procedure but with his expert opinion he truly felt he could make a difference for me. I had tried pain management, chiropractors, acupuncture, physical therapy, spinal epidural injections, and anything else you can think of, I had tried it! I cannot say enough good things about Dr Kamshad Raiszadeh. His very genuine, sincere and caring bedside manner along with his very professional attitude and first and foremost top skills make him my Dr of choice !! Because of he and his staff at the Spine Institute of San Diego I have resumed a normal active and pain free lifestyle. I will forever be grateful to him for being so skilled in his profession and giving me my life back! There may be some very busy days in his office where you will wait for your appointment time but I assure you however, it is more than worth it! He is definitely worth waiting for. So if you happen to go on a day he’s running behind don’t give up because that’s why he’s so busy !! All because he is so skilled at what he does !

Doctor Kamshad is simply amazing. He spends quality time with patients and recommends the best option that is best for YOU. I had a pretty big disk extrusion and was afraid that surgery might have to be the only option, but he listened to my story and problems very attentively, and went over the MRI in detail, and talked into how to try other reinforcements first — like McKenzie methods, muscular exercises, stretches, swimming, PT etc before going to Epidural and then Surgery. Wow, I have never seen someone so involved with patients. I know his knowledge in this area is simply too good because I had researched well on spinal issues before I went. Docs here will certainly do what is best for you.
