Kelsey Doonan

Kelsey did makeup for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. What a rockstar. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She makes you feel comfortable and really takes the time to work with you to get the perfect look for your big day. I got so many compliments after my bridal trial I knew she was the one.
On the wedding day, she showed up right on time to take care of me and my six girls and stayed until we left for the church to take care of any additional touchups that were needed. Did I mention that we were getting ready in Long Beach, CA and she made the trek up from San Diego at the butt crack of dawn?
I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist to take care of me on my «special» day. Hoping I can find a reason to have her do my makeup again!

Kelsey has done my make up for TV appearances, magazine photo shoots and special occasions. She is delightful to work with, has a true artistic touch and is sensitive to personal preferences and age appropriate needs. I am not a lover of makeup but Kelsey’s deft hand left me looking like an enhanced version of myself that I absolutely loved. She even took the time to show me how to apply my own makeup in a simple way that has left me wanting to wear makeup every day. And she is incredibly nice on top of it all.

Kelsey is an incredibly talented hair and makeup artist. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Loved the results!

Kelsey did my makeup along with each of my Bridesmaids for my wedding day. I could not have asked for a better makeup artist! She was so professional and made every girl in her makeup chair feel completely comfortable and at ease! She spent a lot of time making sure each girl loved the way her makeup looked. Each of them, along with me, got various compliments on how great our make up looked! I could not thank Kelsey enough for making me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day! :)

Kelsey recently did my makeup and 8 other bridesmaids/​mother for my wedding. First of all, I highly would recommend her as she was so kind, professional and personable throughout the whole process. She really listened to what I wanted for my makeup (and I don’t know much about makeup) and did an incredible job. My bridesmaids and mom and myself absolutely loved our makeup and I could not have asked for anything better. She was able to do all 9 of our makeup in a timely and professional way, she uses excellent products and I highly recommend her for your next event!

Kelsey did my hair and make-​up for my wedding three years ago and I loved it. She was very professional and patient with me. I had never worked with a make-​up artist before and didn’t know what look I wanted but she worked with me until I was happy. I still owe her photos and she’s never pestered me for them! Did I mention she was patient?

Kelsey is amazing. She is so skilled at her craft. She recently did my make up for my engagement photos. I was feeling a little nervous about being in front of the camera, but my nerves quickly dissipated after Kelsey did my make up. It was like a more fabulous me! I have already received multiple compliments on my make up in the photos. Kelsey is super sweet, professional, and very talented. I definitely recommend her to any brides, bridesmaids, or for any special event.

Kelsey is the greatest! I’ve had two consults with her, one to do a style makeover and purchase new products, and the second as a «touch up» to get up to date on new looks for the season. She was thorough in listening to what I wanted, and researched products that were best for my skin type and lifestyle. She’s also just really sweet and fun to work with. I love that her looks are more on the natural side, she knows how to enhance my natural features. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Kelsey was great! She gave me a makeup consultation for what to wear day-​to-​day. We met at a mall and she knew all of the best products to get for my budget. I’m not great at putting on makeup, so she gave me tips on applying it and the best brushes and sponges to get. She’ll also be doing my wedding, which I’m excited for.

I love Kelsey. She is super easy to work with, flexible and a total sweetheart. She has done my makeup for a few occasions. For a friends wedding, in which she was super flexible with our timeline, showed up on time and finished everyone in a timely manner. I came to her for a girls night out — and she glammed me up! Kelsey’s style is very natural, but she can do pretty much any style — and that night I wanted to be a little more over the top and she nailed it! I would recommend her to any bride! Can’t wait to get my makeup done again soon :) Kelsey will be my girl
