Kerans Christian Counseling

I went to see Corinne Kerans because I have been to so many psychiatrists/​psychologists throughout my life, but never really found answers or made changes in my life. So I finally thought about going to a Christian counselor as I had grown up in the Lutheran Church. Corinne’s first session was incredible. It was very different from other past counseling sessions which focus on the past, such as growing up, relationships, etc., it’s more of a fact finding mission. Corinne taught me in the very first session, what motivates me to do what I do, how I use rationalizations for my anger or my bad habits, how I would blame others for my problems instead of taking responsibility for myself. The sessions after the first were more traditional, but I had a solid foundation for the sessions to follow. Corinne really is able to get to the heart and soul of my issues. For the first time in my life I heard what I needed to hear. And I also think through our work together, I have built a solid relationship with my God, with Jesus.

My wife and I went in to get some help with miscommunication between us, however Corinne did not ask us a single question as to the issue we were there for. Instead what we got was the back of her head as she wrote endless notes on her white board and recited a rehearsed presentation. It felt like we were at a seminar! She started to teach us about original sin and how it affects our lives, I had to interrupt her to tell her that we were both seasoned Christians and were aware of the basics that she covered, flustered that I interrupted her presentation she moved on to explain that EVERYTHING we struggle with in relationships is because of idolatry and sin. We tried to interrupt her and request that we discuss something relevant to our situation but she insisted that she had to finish her presentation.
My wife and I hold no Ill feelings towards Corinne and indeed she seems like a Godly woman with pure motives, my only reason in writing this is so that if you are looking for a counselor that will face you and talk about whatever you are dealing with then you should go elsewhere.

Amzing counselor of God! This woman is totally on point, sourcing everything she says to the bible! She has great insight into the workings and issues of relationships!
She really goes the extra mile for her clients!
