Last week my husband had an allergic reaction to meds and ended up in the ER. The attending Dr gave him a referral to allergy, and he my husband had an appt with Dr. Tse yesterday (how amazing is that…4 business days later!)
So, Dr. Tse was amazing! Brilliant guy! He drew a diagram on a white board and presented a statistical analysis that really helped my husband understand the issues. Dr. Tse looked at my husband’s records going way back… saw the different meds he had taken over the years and was able to identify the culprit with near certainty, explain how most of the meds were relatively safe and how & when the risk of recurrence will dissipate. Dr. Tse also gave options for substitute meds that that were previously more expensive and have only recently become available on Kaiser’s formulary.
