I had partial medial meniscetomy surgery done end of October 20 013 by Dr. Williams. I switched to Dr Williams from another Dr. with Kaiser who, I felt was hesitant to do the surgery, and I was walking with pain and severe swelling waiting for «miracle healing» for three long months. Dr. Williams is a very experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in knees. I trusted him right away — he picked up much, much more out of my MRI/​medial meniscus tear, drawn and explained my injury to me in details including damage to my ligaments he noticed, that was not addressed to me before. After the surgery I had a common pain and swelling, however was able to put on weight, and started some PT NEXT DAY! I did not need pain medications! I was walking, getting out and driving FOUR DAYS after the surgery! It’s been three weeks after the surgery — I am completely back to my normal routine, with minimal limitation. All swelling is gone and all the bruising almost cleared; my scars are barely noticed. I feel he did perfect surgery and was very gentle and considered. He is a great Doctor! Very nice and straightforward person; very easy to talk to and ask all your questions. I am very happy I decided on this surgery rather than waiting for miracle healing, or when my meniscus tear would damage my ligaments. He is a Great surgeon — highly recommend!
