The online Lids store no longer offers customizations so I had to bring the hat in store. Luckily I had a very helpful employee who made me feel comfortable about how easy it will be. After a brief visit to a few other stores in the mall, I returned to my snapback all ready to be wrapped as a xmas gift. They were super busy yet attentive. I had a great experience. Thank You

I went to return my online fitted hats purchase. The online site sent the wrong sizes. The guys at the store were very helpful. They checked to see if they had my size in front inventory as well as the back storage area and several other LIDS stores, but the hats I ordered were sold out in my size. I’ll be shopping here instead of wasting time and shipping cost online.

The two guys«working» at the store were a couple of lazy bums. I love when you ask the salesperson if they have a certain hat and they point in the general vicinity. The guy behind the counter couldn’t be bothered. He was resting his chin on the hat display on the counter and was on his cell phone. Glad they didn’t have what my husband was looking for, we wouldn’t have spent a dime in this store!

Went in on a Friday night to exchange a hat that my wide got me that didn’t fit. The employee, Leon got me the right size and then told me that he could not exchange the hat. Only his manager could who was on his lunch break. He then asked me to wait for 20 minutes for his manager to get back. I had dinner reservations so I told him I can’t do that. I asked him if there was anything he could do and then he argued with me. I asked him to call his manager, Sal, who told him over the phone that he was not willing to come back to help us out since he would«get in trouble». We left. I’m going to return every hat that we got. They are not getting my business. They have no idea what customer service is.

I visited San Diego to go to some Giants games and was able to buy a Giants hat here which they actually had a large selection of. It was a good experience.

Cool people out here and were very helpful. Took my girl visiting from Seattle to Horton Plaza to walk around and do a little shopping, found some good deals out here on some snapbacks. They had a decent selection of hats.

I don’t like the hats here. even the SD hats are plain and boring. quite expensive too actually. if you want a nice graphic logo hat get them online not at the physical store. highly recommend saving your money.

Walked into this Lids to find a hat for the weekend and was truly disappointed in the selection. I’m normally a big fan of Lids and realize that their selection is based on the tastes of the area/region. That said, I guess I’m not a fan of the downtown San Diego area/region for Lids… the hats in this store appeal mostly to teenagers. I almost bought a Dodger hat, but put it back because while I was waiting in line to buy it, I felt like I was buying it to buy it… and when I get that feeling, it means put it back. Decent place to get a hat. Quite expensive, though. You might save some cash finding a hat at one of the cart vendors in the mall, but it’s convenient to have such a large selection here at Lids.

I just got home not to long ago and F this place. Before I begin my shit talking, I did get a decent deal on two hats. I got a SF and SD hat for $ 55. I still prefer buying my hats at Revolution(Plaza Bonita mall). They’re cheaper and provide better service. There’s a Costa Rican/Puerto Rican dude from jersey who is cocky, unprofessional, rude and does not make you feel comfortable at all while your looking around. I didn’t feel comfortable asking him questions. I felt like he didn’t even want to help me out. There’s also a girl who was nicer and assisted me in looking in the back for a different size. But, as we were about to buy my hats, I asked her for the easiest way to get to a store and she was telling me how to get there until the Puerto Rican guy interrupted her and informed her that the electrical stairways were shut down and she looked back at us and said, «Oh, in that case, I can’t help you there.» She really pissed my gf and I off. She was doing so good in helping me out until she made that rude comment with that tone. I’m never coming back to this Lids, ever again.

I used to love shopping at Lids, I was a hat person for awhile before I was married. I even had the membership card where after purchasing 10 hats, I get one hat free and most of the time, my hats are 20% off. Anyway, I came here to look for a hat with my team logo on it and the guy working there seemed like he was high and was dissing my team and told me of course they wouldn’t carry it. I was pretty certain I got that team here in that same place before so I wasn’t sure what the attitude problem was all about. I was dealing with an 18-year old moron, no thanks.
