Loma Landscape and Tree Service

Eric has been doing good and honest business for the community here in OB/​PL for something like 30 years. I hired him because he had been working for my grandmother every week for all of those 30 or so years. And he never raised his prices for her. That says a lot. When he bid the tree that I needed trimmed he explained lacing– the technique to keep the tree beautiful while trimming it back. It’s a lot more of an art than I realized! His price seemed expensive until I got other bids. I’m glad I went with him– my tree looks great! I love driving around and seeing his truck all over the community because I know he does a great job for all of his customers. I guess he does sprinklers, too.

Being new to the Point Loma/​Ocean Beach area, I called around to several local landscaping companies when looking for lawn and landscaping services. Owner Eric Weeks was not only the quickest to respond, but he was also the most reasonably priced for both regular lawn maintenance as well as general landscaping needs such as tree removal, gardening, trimming etc. Because he is local to Point Loma, he was able to come out right away. He does an amazing job — very thorough, detail oriented, and efficient… and the yard looks absolutely fantastic. Moreover, the owner is extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I have had several landscaping «challenges» (both small and large) and he has been a wealth of knowledge and advice, offering creative, affordable solutions to address them all, and completed each job in a very timely manner. During a rainy week, they actually stopped by to let me know they would be coming an alternate day due to the rain — customer service like that is pretty rare to find nowadays. I would highly recommend this company and will most definitely be a long-​term customer.

Eric Weeks, the owner, came out the day I called and gave a free estimate for the removal of 2 dead trees, including the stumps, plus some odds and ends of the old lumber that were also in the back yard. We scheduled a day but I had to call him because he didn’t phone or show up on time. He and his helper Russell eventually showed up this afternoon, and did a good job. They swept and raked up the loose leaves, and Russell even used the blower and picked up leaves in the front yard. That was very nice of him. This is the only company I called so I don’t know if $ 400 is a good price, but I thought it was reasonable. Just know that Eric is a busy man and could use an «alert» on his calendar. You may need to remind him.
