A very nice and tiny store called Make Good in the sweet neighborhood south park. It takes place at the 2207 Fern street in San Diego, California 92104. We went there at the 7th of December 2015. We heard about it from a employee of a café we went before, she recommended this to us as we asked for something special. I didn’t bought something but i was a very nice experience because all the things were handmade and unique from artisants from San Diego and Tijuana. It is the best place to buy presents, cards, cloths and stuff. The employees told me that you almost never see the same things when you visit this store. It is a small tidy store with much of love in it. I think they are doing a very good thing with it, i like it that everything is hand made what is nowadays very rare. They also provide workshops what I guess is a great idea. The owner is a very nice person, she smiled as we walked in and was so kind. The only thing you think when you walk through is woow and I can’t find words for the atmosphere there it was just awesome. I can really recommend this shop for everyone! When you want to see something special then you are at the right place there. I’ll go again but the problem will be that I’ll buy a lot of things there. I reall like that the things are unique and you sometimes just get one of them. So i’m sure everyone find a lot in there.

Love this store, and I think the reason why is because the owner is so nice! Nothing feels better than receiving good customer service. This store has a good selection of vintage items.

Love this place! Plus I feel good and fancy supporting local small businesses. Great selection; perfect for random gifts. Love their clothing too! Awesome staff also; super helpful! I come here at least a few times a month just to browse and always leave with something!

I love coming here! They have the best selection. I’m always finding an armful of clothes that I must have so I make sure I come here with my pockets loaded with cash because I hate walking away from a piece I liked. The store is really clean and they always have about four cashiers at the registers so you get out quick. I need to sign up for their email marketing so I don’t miss any deals.

Recently I connected with the owners of Make Good and have been able to now post my own work up in their store for sale. The best part, they are really great people! They care about the artists, they care about their store and they seem really proud of their spot down their in South Park. It is one thing to like a store and think their stuff is really nice but it is a whole new level of awesome when you know that the owners are just as cool.

Unique? Absolutely! Weather you need a last second gift, an awesome shirt for yourself, or some creative pieces that will get people talking the next time they’re at your house, this is the place to go. The art and creative talent that local artists bring to this little boutique is inspiring to say the least. Jewelry, clothes, baby gear, leather goods, home décor, pillows! They truly have a little bit of everything, and certainly have something for that person who already has everything. On top of that, it’s all handcrafted, recycled, local goods. Can’t beat it! Thank you make good! Keep rocking!

I pretty much want to buy everything in this store! I slowly walk around, closely looking at each amazing item thinking out loud– j“This is cool!” «Wow, this is so cute.» Friendly staff. Great place for gifts! And I love that everything is made nearby! Walmart and Target — OUT. Make Good– IN!!!

If you’re anything like me, you walk into this store and think, «OMG. I love this. I totally want to make this.» Guess what. You won’t. You might even buy the materials but they will sit around your house until next Christmas and it will never turn out as good as the stuff in this store. Just stop. Buy that awesome onesie or that pair of odd but cool earrings. These are by FAR the best presents you can ever buy someone for Christmas, birthdays or baby showers. It’s local, it’s unique and if you want, you can tell people you made it.

Obsessed with this store. Everything is handmade by local artists and thoughtfully crafted! There is really something for everyone and its the perfect place to shop for a birthday present. They also resell current clothing with a really great editing eye, so you can reform your wardrobe with nice clothing for a really affordable price, all the while supporting a local store/family instead of big corporations. The staff are always nice and the inventory is constantly changing. Plus its situation between an awesome vintage store and an awesome lifestyle store, across the street from a burger bar and a chocolate factory so you can really make a nice little afternoon out of it :) And theres always parking within a block!

Make Good does really feel good. As in the boutique next door, the owner here is absolutely cordial with the customers or just eye candy catchers. This is a very dreamy boutique where you can find useless items or practical beauty, whatever you want or need. They cater the craftsmanship of multiple local artists and is amazing the versatility of people creating things from mundane objects and giving them a new life(like that cactus plant that is actually made of of crochet, the effect is incredible!). I like to get stationery and cute pins for my hair(that I end up not wearing and give away). Everything is so nicely put and packet, you feel like in a toy store for adults, mostly for dreamy girls, I would say.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop. The owner is an absolute sweetheart, and always remembers my friend and I when we come in. She knows everything about the artists and their creations, and has even introduced me to some new music. As for the products, they are unique, lovely, well-made, and fun. Everything has its own personality. I’ve gotten so many cute dresses, jewelry, and décor from here, including my favorites, stuffed handmade sushi and toast characters.

Easily my favorite boutique in town. Great place to find something for yourself, presents for a friend, and all while supporting one of the coolest local businesses that price their store at a completely reasonable level.

This place is seriously adorbs! Its a little shop filled with goodies made by locals! Its full of fun unique little finds such as dog collars with bow ties, beanies designed to look like owls, knitted cacti and much much more! Great place to find cute gifts and décor that no one else really has! Plus when you check in here on Unilocal you get 20% off your purchase! Plus the guy who works here has the most gorgeous eyes Ive probably ever seen. In my life. Go in and check out all this place has to offer. Your welcome in advance.

My review of Make Good is all about the personality of the Owner. She is exactly the type of small business owner we love in South Park. She was so friendly and accommodating even though my friend and I were only browsing. I will definitely be stoping back by if not just for a chat. Lovely store, lovely people.

My experience with Sophia(and the staff) has been amazing! She is very very encouraging and supports those of us who feel we have a gift to share. I love the concept and look of the store and I am very very proud to be a part of the team of artists in Make Good. I recommend this shop to everyone I know who cares about what they give as gifts and desire to be intentional about their shopping.

This is a really cool local boutique. It’s no larger than the closet I keep all of my Unilocal gear in but, they do a lot with the space. There’s all sorts of accessories and décor hand crafted local designers and artists. With such creative items as a handbag made of used Starbucks coffee bags and glassware molded from a Stone Brewery bottle it certainly makes for some great gift ideas. Like any local boutique there are definitely a few pieces that I thought to myself«Who in their right would buy that?» but even they were at least fun to snicker at. This place is totally worthy of the DW seal of approval. Check em out and Make Good with the local biz, art, and designer gods!

LOVE it! We were eating at The Station and happened to park in front of here and wandered in to check it out. I really liked this place and will for sure come back to see what’s new there and also fun things I can buy friends! It’s like walked into a Etsy storefront! Hooray! Thank you Good Stuff — I’m glad that you are here.
