Great quality food, attentive service. Outside seating on back patio. The shrimp tostada and cocktail were amazing!!! Will return for sure.

This is a true whole in the wall spot and has the best aguachile and ceviche I’ve ever had… the aguachile is just right and has a unique taste and is so damn spicy that I had to get up and walk around as if that helped. Regardless of the spiciness, it was too good to stop eating. Will definitely come back, Very surprised, check it out you won’t regret it.

We have been going to this place for years. It is a hole in the wall but you can’t get fresher cocktails, vuelve a la vida, campechanas, aguachiles or ceviche than here. The spices are just right and I love the little tostadas and salsa huichol. If you are hung over or just craving great Mexican seafood this place in the barrio is the place to go.

Still amazing!!! I can’t get enough of this place. Although the prices have gone up a tad and the portions are a lil smaller but the its still fantastic!

Was a little hesitant to go since it was such a hole in the wall but it was definitely DELICIOUS! Some of the best seafood I have ever had! Definitely would recommend it if you’re looking for a good place to get mariscos!

Wow!!! This food is phenomenal. Outstanding flavors! My favorite is the aguachile, which is shrimp marinated in citrus juice and spiced up with hot peppers. Amazing!!!

sadly this is my first bad review, hate to do a one star but they really deserved it. That being said wanted to make sure people know the bad review is based to customer service alone not the food i did not get to try it. I made the drive from imperial beach to try the place, got to the front door and i can see customers on the back but no way to enter the place from the door i just entered. confused i stand there hoping that one of the two workers that were there would at least acknowledge me and give me some direction. nothing and went out i try to see if there was another entrance but no luck. i stood in front of the door confused and one of the workers came out and close the door in front of my face. I went in a second time and ask the lady that shut the door if this was the right way to enter, she said no you enter from the side in a very dry manner. i went outside again and saw everything locked no way in. i go in a third time and said that there no way in, a different worker in a very rude manner again told me they were no tables available that if i wanted i can take to go not dine in. it is obvious there is not people skills in this place i felt horribly by the way they treated me not a chance ill be back. owner please take this as an advice and train your staff you might have good food but there is no way to know if you are turning people away.

Best Mariscos on this side of the border. Have recommend this place to all my coworkers and friends. All have loved this place. Love the tostadas, agua chile, and cocteles. My favorites is the vuelve a la vida tostada and coctel. Must go marisco spot in San Diego

Stopped by for a few ceviche tostadas to go, menu says about $ 4 each. When they had me all packed up the total was $ 23! That’s an extra $ 7! The guy said the to go price is more(of course they failed to mention that when I ordered) So be aware and watch out for hidden pricing.

Been coming here for years and so far no one can touch their food… Ceviche, cocteles, aguachiles. Really cool place and its BYOB. If you want your aguachiles really super spicy, just let them know and you’re gonna feel it! The vuelve a la vida is on point! Highly recommend this place.

This place is great! They have really good aguachile and ceviche, it taste better with saladitas crackers not tostadas. You can do to the liquor store next door to get beer, and have your amazing feast. The only thing they need is better lighting, the last time I was here was December idk if they added more lights.

I’ve been coming here for decades with friends and family. Delicious Mexican seafood. I normally get the«Vuelve a la Vida»(Return to Life) seafood combination cocktail. Our friends know this place as «The Tree» for the big shade tree in the patio. Buy your favorite adult beverage at the liquor store on the corner.

Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas are the best here. This establishment does not serve beer but you are allowed to bring in your own without any problems. There is also a little liquor store right on the corner. Just be considerate and respectful. Enjoy and this tiny little restaurant does accept credit cards. Enjoy.

Love it, love it. For those of you who like raw seafood this is the place. Little hole in the wall. Tostada de pulpo was my favorite. Aguachile wasn’t spicy but overall a wonderful experience.
