Martina is amazing! She was very easy to work with and super sweet via email and even sweeter in person. Our wedding photos far surpassed our expectations. I gave a few words describing our style and she nailed it. Plus, she made us feel comfortable and helped us be more expressive. We love every single one of our photos! Martina is on the cusp of a wonderfully successful photography career and one day I know I will be able to boast that she took our wedding photos. My husband and I highly recommend Martina!

Martina took photos of my daughter several years ago and they are my favorite photos of her. They captured her whimsical personality perfectly. Definitely allow her to suggest attire and poses — it paid off enormously for us. One of the photos is so great I’m currently painting an entire imaginative piece around the photo of my daughter.

Martina took our engagement pictures this past weekend– she is absolutely awesome!
In the weeks before our shoot, Martina was great at getting a sense for what type of look we wanted to go for. I had a very specific vision based on inspiration from a magazine spread and pictures I had included on my Pinterest– which she followed. I was so ecstatic when we received our pictures back (processed amazingly fast) and I discovered that she had captured our vision perfectly!
Martina is really great at capturing photo journalistic shots– she caught the cutest small moments that could have easily been lost and she made us look model-​esque. She also has a great eye for light and really captured some very flattering shots with interesting framing. Her style is super current and I felt like she modernized our photos rather than making them look like more traditional old-​school style engagement pictures.
Besides this, Martina was just a joy to work with. I connected with her via Craigslist– which is always a risk. I didn’t know what to expect at first until I got a chance to talk with her via phone and email and felt way more comfortable. Throughout the entire process she was super dependable– even braving the day after the storm to still get to our photo shoot before my fiancée left town the following morning! She is open to suggestions and is just so easy to be around, it was hard to believe it was just our first time meeting her. This is super important when you’re doing something as awkward as an engagement shoot!
I’m really looking forward to having her shoot our wedding in April and can’t wait to see what she comes up with!
