Came here with my husband about a month ago. The guy that fixed our hookah was really nice. However the seating was super bad. So many of the chairs are broken. We got up and moved once and the seat we moved to was busted as well so we just sat there. The seating is along the wall and the center of the large room is empty. Not sure if it’s supposed to be a dance floor or what. Rap music was playing reeeeeal loud. Not exactly a chill environment you might expect at a hookah lounge… All in all its fine. Felt clean. Nice staff. Wouldn’t mind going back again sometime.

Best hookah lounge specially on Thursdays and Saturdays when DJ Alexk is playing !!! Trust me you wont regret it specially good hookah quality unlike the rest of the hookah lounges out there that burn really fast !!

Mazzika Is a dope spot! Love the atmosphere and love the setting. They always have good music playing and something relevant on the TV’s. I can’t forget to mention how clean it is there too, it’s never a mess. Easily one of my favorite hookah spots in San Diego!

If you like hookah this is a decent place to go to. I’ve been to many hookah spots in SD. This was first time visiting the Serra Mesa/​Kearny mesa area to do so. I’m sure this place is fairly new as to why there were not many people around on a Saturday night. (Or that its far from most places).
It’s great because it’s very spacious inside and it’s very easy to find parking. I was there on the weekend so there was a DJ playing 90s-​current hip hop. If you like good music, hookah and spacious seating this is a good place to relax and chill. Theres also a dance floor during dj nights for you to shake your booty.
No food or alcohol being sold yet at this place but this is a great place to just chill if you’re in this area.

I’ve been to a lot of lounges in SD.
Mazika is one of the the cleanest ones!
Don’t even get me started on the Hookahs. Really smooth and doesn’t leave you with a harsh feeling.
Bottom line: I definitely recommend. The owner knows what he’s doing.
