Dr McCracken is very kind, professional and is great at what he does. On the other hand, his receptionist is very rude, not polite and is not helpful. He told me my medical insurance would cover a splint and she said it would not. She did not offer to look into it for me. So I did, and it turns out my medical does cover it. I am giving 4 stars for Dr McCracken himself. I would recommend him but just be warned his staff member is not a reflect of him.

Find another specialist. I believe Dr. McCracken is ripping off people in pain with unnecessary X-rays(that oddly you pay him for even though they are done at a separate lab) and a proposed $ 5,000 worth of «splints» and appointments to fix jaw problems. I sat in his waiting room and listened to him give the same exact speech to a new patient as he gave to me two weeks before. Eat soft foods, don’t yawn, no crusty bread, etc. Oh and he will also try to convince you to become a vegetarian at the same time. The whole operation is very shady.

Dr. McCracken is great at what he does. The Stache used to be a clenched when he sleeps. And I mean, clenched like Andy Dufresne’s first night in Shawshank Prison clench. But after getting fitted for a mouth guard, the Stache has had no issues. I would highly recommend Dr McCracken!
