McMillin Companies Event Center

The place is beautiful with an adjancent kitchen but the lack of customer service is horrible! I paid good money to host a party and expected quality service. I was charged $ 200 to set up the day before for 1 hr. 45 minutes. NTC expects the caterer to pick up all trash and even vacuum once you are done with the facility. My caterer left after cleaning up but I was left with hauling empty boxes and trash that was not taken by caterer. For the money paid, I expected NTC to at least take out the trash!

The Corky McMillin Events Center at NTC Promenade is an excellent venue to rent; whether it’s for a wedding reception, charity fundraiser (charity casino event ;]), debut, sweet sixteen, quinceañera, etc.
Actually maybe a little too extravagant if it’s just for a sweet sixteen unless you’re one of those MTV — Sweet 16 kids.
7,114 square feet of carpet with a 742 sq. ft. foyer.
Doors along the side of the hall, and the restrooms are just around the corner and lots of stalls.
If the party you are hosting includes buffet dining or table-​seated dining a dance floor will be provided, which is AWESOME, because who dances on carpet.
Large projection screen and projector is provided for montages, movies, videos, etc.
The doors along one side of the hall open up to the promenade, where there is an amazing fountain and lots of greenery. Photo ops, I think yes.
Don’t be surprised if you’re renting the hall and there’s a wedding or someone renewing their vows in a grassy area a few yard away. The place is large.
There’s also a kitchen and meeting room that’s part of the McMillin Events Center. Ample parking on the street and lots.
Shanghai Nights — a casino charity event was recently hosted here. We were able to start setting up at 2:30pm and the event was at 7:30pm, the event was a success beginning to end. I’m assuming if it were a wedding reception more time would be given to set up tables, decorations, food stations, etc.
