I had Lasik done by Michael Gordon in January of this year. I can’t believe this guy does not have more Unilocal reviews. He is a total rock star, and I wouldn’t hesitate to have my eyes done by him again. I had one eye corrected for distance and 1 eye corrected for close up, so I was really nervous about getting this done. As soon as I met Dr. Gordon I had no hesitation. He conveys TOTALCONFIDENCE, IM A ROCKSTARAND I KNOWIT… He’s also Cool… Now you all know that when it comes to eye surgery you want THEROCKSTARANDYOUKNOWIT… His staff is good, and they offer a 20% discount if you say someone referred you who had surgery there. I will say one thing, it took several months for my eyes to adjust, which is longer than they said it would. Ultimately though I only care that my eyes are in good shape, and that the surgery was SUCCESSFUL. Do not pay less for your eyes… pay more to get THEBEST… thank you Dr. Gordon tip: You can use your FSA benefits for lasik. Why not take a little money out of Uncle Sam’s hands and use it for your eyes :-)

FYI: I’m still deciding if I want LASIK, so I’ve only done my consultation so far. I was referred to Dr. Gordon from a medical center in Houston that my friend’s mom works at. It was pretty easy to get an appointment. His office has several other surgeons but from what it seems like Dr. Gordon is at the top of it all. I found that he’s done extensive research in the field and has cutting edge technology(like owning the best combination of equipment and getting SW updates before other offices). Dr. Gordon himself has a nice casual air, which was surprising since he’s located in a rather bougie office building. The only downside is that it costs a TON more than other offices. But after all, you only have one pair of eyes.
