Dr. Martin is great! He is knowledgable, compassionate, listens well, know his patients, etc… and I am so lucky to be a patient of his. One of the best!

I am with Dr. Martin for more than five years. Great doctor, very personal, friendly, and knowledgeable. He has a great memory to know everyone in my family, including my mom in China. He is a truly FAMILY doctor.

Studies show that a patient’s appraisal of their doctor has a direct influence on his or her compliance with treatment and therefore on the continuity of the patient-​physician relationship which ultimately leads to better care outcomes.

It has been acknowledged in medical journals that compared with other methods of evaluating quality, assessment of patient perceptions of their doctor offer several practical advantages such as their inherent greater sensitivity to differences in the quality of care compared to traditional indicators like adjusted mortality rates or complications rates.

In conclusion and despite my heterosexuality, I’ll happily turn my head and cough anytime for Dr. Martin. We should all be so lucky.

I usually don’t bother ‘checking-​in’ when I visit my doctor, because that’s usually a private matter, but I don’t see why my review had to be filtered… please see my other reviews, I do NOT write fake reviews.***
Update for Dr. Martin: I scheduled an appointment for my husband for some rare skin condition, which was out of Dr. Martin’s league, so Dr. Martin put in an urgent appointment request for a dermatologist to see him the next day, as opposed to having him wait for 3 months to get an appointment. As always, a very caring doctor who puts patient’s health first. Thank you.

I would like to echo Grace’s review. My family’s experience was very similar when our daughter wasn’t feeling well. Mr. Martin called with test results after hours and gave helpful, caring direction during the weekend. For our son, Dr. Martin’s nurse, Danielle, detected a vision problem that we were not aware. Dr. Martin then gave us a referral to an excellent optometrist. In addition, the office staff makes an effort to be friendly and efficient.
