Small school, LOTS of love! I used to teach here but left because I moved further north, and also to continue my education. In the short time I spent working here, I truly learned the value of Christian education. The principal and teachers here truly love what they do and it’s all about serving the Lord and growing up the students to love Him as well. There is an atmosphere of love all around this campus, and that’s because it’s fostered among the faculty, staff, and parents. Everyone is truly working together to provide a God-​honoring education for all of the children here. My experience truly taught me the value and importance of investing in a quality Christian education for your children. It is to grow your children up with Godly character. When I taught here, my students encouraged and supported one another instead of competing and tearing each other down… Once, when one student didn’t get his way, another student reminded him of Romans 8:28 saying, «It’s okay because God works out all things for the good of those who love Him.» They were only in second grade, and it was the verse of the week (they memorize scripture every week here). For the parents who have had difficult experiences, God has His way of leading you to where you need to be. However, He still has a wonderful purpose for this school. As for me, when I have children, I wouldn’t hesitate to enroll them here.

This is our second year at this school. The principal must be one of the most least power hungry person I have ever met. We must be talking about two different people. Mrs. Clark is one of the most genuine heart loving person you’ll ever meet. I don’t find their regulations or guidelines to be too strict. If the other reviewer gave an example, I’d understand better, but I have no idea what they are referring to. Our kinder son is memorizing bible verses like it is as easy as pie. His teacher keeps him engaged and challenged. He’s very active and at times can get into trouble, but he loves the school and the students there. I started him off during their summer program so he would feel comfortable with the other students. The teachers are great with the kids, the school and teachers are quick to respond to any concerns. And the after school child care givers are wonderful with the kids as well. Communication is the key, and they have open communication. I don’t see the cliques, it’s understandable that parents of the children in the same grade level would be more familiar or comfortable with each other. I’ve known parents from the preschool whose children currently attend the elementary, but still don’t know the other grade level parents. I don’t feel like an outsider or uncomfortable. We only see the other parents during pickup or drop off and at school events. I’m more involved at the school than my husband, but my schedules gives me time. He doesn’t know many parents, but I think it’s about how comfortable you are. And because its a smaller school, you’ll eventually get to know everyone.
Our oldest is now in first grade and she has had some issues. The students have been nothing but supportive of her. She never once felt like she was being teased. That is one thing you will not find here. A child being teased or bullied. And the children are a reflection of how they are raised by the parents. And there are great kids at this school. There is no discrimination of any sort. You’ll find kinder kids playing with 4rth graders, girls and boys playing basketball together. It is a great atmosphere to expose your children to. And you know they are in good hands. God’s hands.

This is a wonderful elementary school! I was very pleased with the school and the way the principle, Mrs Clark, runs it. We are only leaving because we are moving.
My daughter went here for two years, and I cannot say enough about how kind the teachers and staff were to her. It is a small school and my daughter was able to make friends with children of all grades.
The teachers were very spiritual and imparted God’s word in a way that my daughter had a deep understanding. She went through 3^rd and 4^th grade at this school. She made a personal commitment to Christ at the end of the school year, and I know the school’s teaching and chapel played a large part in that.
The after school ladies who provide day care are wonderful too and the price is affordable. As a working mom, I had peace of mind knowing a fair and loving team of ladies were watching over my child, giving her a hand with homework, and talking to her about her day as I was driving after work to pick her up.
Do not hesitate to interview and check out this school. I highly recommend it! Small class size is a plus, and Mrs Clark is a great principle who provides firm but loving leadership. The tuition is also very affordable.

I have sent all four of my kids to MMCS. They truly fulfill their mission of partnering with parents in developing academic excellence and godly character in kids. The principal is a godly lady who truly loves the kids and their families – a heart attitude that is shared by every teacher and staff member. A SOLID place for your kids!

We visited this school in our search for preschools. We love the Christian based projects and curriculum. We staff was very nice and loving to the students. We like the hands on the science projects that the three year olds were doing. In the hallway they had bios of the teachers and the curriculum focus for the week. The school is under a bit of construction so it looks a bit disorganized inside. Great schooo.

This is a hidden gem of a school! I researched several schools before deciding on this school for my child’s kindergarten. Each had their own strengths, but we decided on Mira Mesa Christian.
My child has has had such a happy experience. The school staff and community welcome you as part of their family. The teachers are top-​notch and they have field trips every month. The teacher to student ratios are unheard of in public and even most private schools. You won’t be disappointed.
